Kim You-Jung, Byeon Woo-Seok, Park Jung-Woo and Roh Yoon-Seo are cast in Netflix movie “20th Century Girl.” Kim You-Jung will play main character Na Bo-Ra. The story is set in the year 1999 and follows Na Bo-Ra’s first love and friendships.

Lee Jong-Suk and Lim Yoon-A are cast in tvN drama series “Big Mouse.” In the drama series, Lee Jong-Suk and Lim Yoon-A will play husband and wife. Lee Jong-Suk is framed into being genius swindler Big Mouse (in actuality his nickname is Big Mouth) and his wife attempts to clear his name. The drama series will be directed by Oh Choong-Hwan (“While You Were Sleeping“/”Hotel Del Luna“).

The film is based on 2018 novel “Aru Otoko” by Keiichiro Hirano and directed by Kei Ishikawa (“Gukoroku: Traces of Sin“). Also cast for supporting roles are Nana Seino, Hidekazu Mashima, Kazutoyo Koyabu, Taiga Nakano, Yoko Maki, and Akira Emoto. Filming for the movie took place from January 25th to March 1st, 2021.
The mystery film will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Jung Woo, Park Hee-Soon, Yoon Jin-Seo and Park Ji-Yeon are cast in Netflix drama series “Model Family” (literal title). The drama series will have Jung Woo and Yoon Jin-Seo playing a married couple. The husband becomes involved with a drug gang through a character played by Park Hee-Soon. Actress Park Ji-Yeon will play a detective that investigates the drug gang.

Movie is based on play “Seichi X” by Tomohiro Maekawa and directed by Yu Irie (“8000 Miles“). Filming for the movie has already completed and took place in South Korea over a 1 month period. Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer for the film has been added on AsianWiki. The genre of the movie is horror/mystery, with Masaki Okada and Haruna Kawaguchi playing siblings.

Movie is based on 2015 novel “Rogo no Shikin ga Arimasen” by Miu Kakiya and directed by Tetsu Maeda (“A Banana? At This Time of Night?“). The film follows a housewife (Yuki Amami) in a situation that leads her to reduce her retirement account significantly. She agonizes over her situation.

Ryusei Yokohama is cast in TBS drama series “DCU” starring Hiroshi Abe. The title of the drama series stands for deep crime unit, which is a team of the coast guard formed to fight to underwater crimes. Ryusei Yokohama will play Haruki Seno. His character is a member of DCU and an excellent scuba diver. His parents had a fatal accident in the sea when he was young. Meanwhile, Ryusei Yokohama acquired a scuba diving license in preparation to play his character in the drama series.
