Haru & Shotaro Mamiya are cast in Fuji TV-KTV drama series “Renovation Like Magic” (literal title). The drama series is based on manga series “Maho no Rinobe” by Maki Hoshizaki. For “Renovation Like Magic,” Haru will play Kome Shingyoji. She begins work at a home renovation company and must work with the owner’s son played by Shotaro Mamiya.
“Renovation Like Magic” first airs July, 2022 (takes over Fuji TV’s Monday 10PM time slot after “Who Needs True Love?“).

Main trailer added for movie “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” starring Shin Shi-A, Park Eun-Bin, & Lee Jong-Suk. Movie is a sequel to 2018 film “The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion” starring Kim Da-Mi. Kim Da-Mi will appear in the sequel film, but her appearance will be limited. The main trailer has narration that starts at the 8 second mark by Jo Min-Soo as Dr. Baek with “The official name of the experiment is Ark1 Datum point. She is the standard for this project.” Captions in the trailer states (1:12) “The beginning of everything” and (1:22) “Another witch wakes up.”

Kim Dong-Wook & Jin Ki-Joo are cast in KBS2 drama series “Met You By Chance” (literal title). In the drama series Kim Dong-Wook will play Yoon Hae-Joon. He works as an achorman on a local TV channel. Jin Ki-Joo will play Baek Yoon-Young. She works for a publishing company. The two main characters then travel back in time to the year 1987. They have two different goals while in the year 1987, but they realize they are connected.
“Met You By Chance” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Teaser poster for Watcha drama series “Ultimate Weapon Alice” (literal title) starring Park Se-Wan & Song Geon-Hee. The drama series also has Lee Byeong-Hun (“Extreme Job“) participating as a director and screenwriter. This is his second drama series work after 2019 JTBC drama series “Be Melodramatic.” Caption on the teaser poster states “Thought it was pink. No, it was blood-red.”

Kim Min-Kyu is cast in drama series “Pontifex Lembrary” (literal title). The drama series is based on web novel “Sungseureowoon Idol” by Shin Hwa-Jin. The fantasy themed drama series will have Kim Min-Kyu play Pontifex Lembrary. While he fights against a devil, he somehow transfers into the body of an unpopular idol group member named Woo Yeon-Woo. The group suddenly becomes popular because of Woo Yeon-Woo, who is possessed by Pontifex Lembrary..
“Pontifex Lembrary” is expected to be released sometime in the first half of next year.

Yoshihiko Inohara is cast in WOWOW drama series “Shylock’s Children” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2006 novel “Shylock no Kodomotachi” by Jun Ikeido (“Naoki Hanzawa“). The drama series is directed by Kosuke Suzuki and scripted by Youichi Maekawa. Kosuke Suzuki and Youichi Maekawa previously worked together on 2009 WOWOW drama series “The Flying Tire,” which is also based on a novel by Jun Ikeido (“Soratobu Taiya”). The drama series “Shylock’s Children” will have Yoshihiko Inohara play Masahiro Nishiki. He works as a deputy manager for a branch bank and looks into a case where a million yen is missing.

Yuta Tamamori (Kis-My-Ft2) and Anne Nakamura are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Nice Flight.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Rin Eto (“Nodame Cantabile“). For the drama series, Yuta Tamamori will play Sui Kurata. He is the co-pilot for a commercial airline and falls in love with an air traffic controller just from listening to her voice. That air traffic controller is played by Anne Nakamura. The drama series will be set around Haneda Airport and involve the cooperation of Japan Airlines. The theme song for the drama series will also be performed by boy band Kis-My-Ft2.

Teaser trailer added for movie “Goodbye Cruel World” starring Hidetoshi Nishijima & Takumi Saito. The film is directed by Tatsushi Omori (“Tada’s Do-It-All House“) and scripted by Ryo Takada (“Over the Fence“). The teaser trailer also features classic American r&b track “Let’s Stay Together” covered by Margie Joseph. Caption in the teaser asks around the 22 second mark “Who’s the traitor?” The film revolves around 5 people, whose real identities are unknown to each other, gather for a one time robbery. Their target is the yakuza.

2nd teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” starring Yoo Ji-Tae, Kim Yunjin, & Park Hae-Soo. The drama series is a remake of Spanish TV series “La casa de papel” (“Money Heist”). The 2nd teaser trailer features footage from the drama series for the first time as it shows that the two Koreas have decided to operate under a common economic union, but only the rich have benefited. A group of people than prepare to take part in the single largest heist ever.
