Kim Sun-Ho and Go Youn-Jung cast in Netflix drama “Can This Love Be Translated?”

Kim Sun-Ho and Go Youn-Jung are cast for lead roles in Netflix drama series “Can This Love Be Translated?” (working title). Also cast for the drama Sota Fukushi, Lee E-Dam, & Choi Woo-Sung. The romantic-comedy screenplay is written by sisters Hong Jung-EunHong Mi-Ran, who wrote such popular drama series as “My Girlfriend is Gumiho,” “The Master’s Sun,” and worked with lead actress Go Youn-Jung in “Alchemy of Souls.” The drama series is also features popular Japanese actor Sota Fukushi performing for the first time in a South Korea drama series.

“Can This Love Be Translated?” will be available to stream sometime next year.

Main cast announced fir MBN drama “Bad Memory Eraser”

Kim Jae-Joong, Jin Se-Yun, Lee Jong-Won, & Yang Hye-Ji are cast in MBN drama series “Bad Memory Eraser” (literal title). For Kim Jae-Joong, “Bad Memory Eraser” will be his first starring role in a drama series since 2017 KBS2 drama series “Manhole.” “Bad Memory Eraser” will feature a romance screenplay revolving around a man played by Kim Jae-Joong who undergoes a memory eraser at a brain research center.

“Bad Memory Eraser” will first air August 2, 2024 in South Korea.

Trailer added for movie “Pilot” starring Cho Jung-Seok, Lee Joo-Myoung, & Han Sun-Hwa. The comedy film revolves around Han Jung-Woo (Cho Jung-Seok) who loses his job as a pilot and is able to get rehired after disguising himself as a woman. The drama series features 7 omnibus horror stories that revolves around the main character discovering a tarot card and how their momentary choice brings about terror in their lives. A movie version of “Tarot” was released in South Korea on June 14, 2024 that features 3 stories from the upcoming drama series. The teaser trailer begins with Jung Young-Joo stating “It’s a picture of a hermit. That is a person who tries to gain enlightenment in a dark place of the world.”

Drama series “Serendipity’s Embrace” to air on tvN

Upcoming drama series “Serendipity’s Embrace,” starring Kim So-Hyun, Chae Jong-Hyeop, Yun Ji-On, and Kim Da-Som, is now set to air on tvN from July 22, 2024 in South Korea. The drama series will move into tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 8:50 PM time slot after the conclusion of “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers.” “Serendipity’s Embrace” features a romance screenplay that is based on webcomic “Wooyeonilgga?” by Nam Ji-Eun & Kim In-Ho.

Teaser trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Sweet Home 3” starring Song Kang, Lee Jin-Uk, Lee Si-Young, and Go Min-Si. The drama series is setup as the third and final installment in the “Sweet Home” trilogy. The trailer begins with an announcement of rules for the survivors in the stadium. Favorable conditions will be given to the symptomatic people as they enter into a monsterization phase before becoming neohumans. Caption on the poster states “The final battle to protect everyone.”

Ryu Jun-Yeol and Shin Hyun-Bin cast in Netflix drama “Revelations”

Ryu Jun-Yeol and Shin Hyun-Bin  are cast in Netflix drama series “Revelations.” The drama series will also have Yeon Sang-Ho as the director and screenwriter and Choi Kyu-Seok as a co-screenwriter. The duo of Yeon Sang-Ho and Choi Kyu-Seok also wrote the original webcomic “Gyeshirok,” which “Revelations” is based off of and they previously wrote the webcomic “Jiok,” which they then adapted into the 2021 Netflix drama series “Hellbound.” Story for “Revelations” will follow a pastor played by Ryu Jun-Yeol and a detective played by Shin Hyun-Bin who are both driven by their respective beliefs.

“Revelations” will be available to stream sometime next year in South Korea.
