First still image of Kai in KBS2 drama series “Andante”

Here’s the first still images of Kai (‘EXO-K’) in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Andante.” The still images are from Kai’s first day of filming for the drama series, which took place around the middle of last month (January, 2017). In the drama series, Kai plays rebellious high school student Lee Shi-Kyung.

“Andante” will air sometime this year in South Korea.

First script reading for MBC drama series “You Are Too Much”

First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “You Are Too Much,” starring Uhm Jung-Hwa & Ku Hye-Sun, took place recently at MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, South Korea.  Main cast members including Uhm Jung-Hwa, Ku Hye-Sun, Kang Tae-Oh, Jung Gyu-Woon, Jeon Kwang-Leol & Son Tae-Young all attended. The drama series follows a popular pop singer (Uhm Jung-Hwa) and a woman who works as her impersonator (Ku Hye-Sun).

“You Are Too Much” will first air March 4, 2017 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Saturday and Sunday 8:40 PM time slot after “Blow Breeze.”

First still images of Ko Ah-Sung in MBC drama series “Self Radiation Office”

First still images of Ko Ah-Sung in upcoming MBC drama series “Self Radiation Office” co-starring Ha Seok-Jin. The still images were taken on Ko Ah-Sung’s first day of filming for the drama series, which took place February 1, 2017 at a small restaurant in Mapo District, Seoul, South Korea. In her first scene, Eun Ho-Won (Ko Ah-Sung) works part-time at a small restaurant and gets a hard time from a customer.

“Self Radiation Office” will first air March 15, 2017 in South Korea.

Yoo Ah-In offered lead role in tvN drama series “Chicago Typewriter”

Yoo Ah-In has been offered a lead role in upcoming tvN drama series “Chicago Typewriter” (literal title). Currently, Yoo Ah-In is considering the offer. If Yoo Ah-In accepts, he will play bestselling writer Han Se-Joo. He possesses a sensitive and prickly personality. Premise for the drama series revolves around writers who lived under Japanese occupation in the 1930’s and are reincarnated into the present day. The writers are reincarnated into a bestselling writer, a ghostwriter and an anti-fan. Meanwhile, Yoo Ah-In is waiting to take his medical examination to enlist in the South Korean military (which is a mandatory requirement for all male South Korean citizens) in the near future.

“Chicago Typewriter” will first air March, 2017 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Friday and Saturday 8PM time slot after “Tomorrow With You“).

Lee Dong-Hwi, Kim Dong-Wook and Hoya cast in MBC drama series “Self Radiation Office”

Lee Dong-Hwi, Kim Dong-Wook and Hoya (‘INFINITE’) are cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Self Radiation Office” starring Ko Ah-Sung & Ha Seok-Jin. All three of the actors will play major supporting characters in the drama series.

In the drama series, Lee Dong-Hwi will play Do Ki-Taek. He is a new contract employee like main character Eun Ho-Won (Ko Ah-Sung). He comes from a poor background, but he believes love is everything.

Kim Dong-Wook will play play Seo Hyun. He is a doctor and the second son of a wealthy family who runs the company Eun Ho-Won and Do Ki-Taek works for. He begins to support Eun Ho-Won like a daddy-long-legs benefactor.

Hoya will play Jang Kang-Ho. He is also a new contract employee like Eun Ho-Won and Do Ki-Taek. He comes from a wealthy family background and has a passive personality.

“Self Radiation Office” first airs March, 2017 in South Korea.

Here’s still images of Chae Soo-Bin‘s first scene in upcoming MBC drama series “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People” co-starring Yoon Gyun-Sang & Kim Sang-Joong. Filming for Chae Soo-Bin’s first scene took place at the end of December, 2016 on Hwangmae Mountain in Hapcheon, South Korea. Filming took place under harsh weather conditions with strong winds and cold weather.

Chae Soo-Bin’s first scene will appear in ep.1 of “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People” which airs later tonight in South Korea.
