Oh Jin-Seok has signed on to direct upcoming drama series “Four Men” (literal title) starring Park Hae-Jin. In addition, SBS is currently in discussions to air the drama series. The screenplay for the drama series is still being finalized and casting will continue through the beginning of July, 2017. Filming for the drama series is expected to begin in the second half of 2017. In drama series “Four Men,” Park Hae-Jin will play 4 characters.
Kim You-Jung has been offered the lead female role in upcoming KBS2 drama series “School 2017” (literal title). Currently, Kim You-Jung is positively considering her offer.

Lee Kwang-Soo is set to make a special appearance in upcoming KBS2 drama series “The Best Hit” starring Yoon Si-Yoon and Kim Min-Jae. Lee Kwang-Soo is good friends with supporting actor/director Cha Tae-Hyun which led to his special appearance. In the drama series, Lee Kwang-Soo will play Yoon-Ki. He is the boyfriend of Choi Woo-Seung (Lee Se-Young).

Kim Nam-Gil and Kim A-Joong are now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Deserving of the Name” (literal title). Drama series will be directed by Hong Jong-Chan.
In the drama series, Kim Nam-Gil will play lead male character Heo Im. He is an oriental doctor living in the Joseon era. Due to an incident, he travels through time and finds himself in present day Seoul. Kim A-Joong will play Choi Yeon-Kyung. She is a doctor in present day Seoul. She appears cold and she carries an emotional scar. She also has a secret. These two characters meet.
“Deserving of the Name” will first air August, 2017 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Secret Forest“).
Park Joong-Hoon and Kang Ha-Neul have been offered lead roles in new OCN drama series “Bad Guys 2.” The drama series is a sequel to 2014 OCN drama series “Bad Guys” which starred Kim Sang-Joong, Ma Dong-Seok & Park Hae-Jin. Both Park Joong-Hoon and Kang Ha-Neul are considering their offers positively. If Park Joong-Hoon accepts, he will play Public Prosecutor Woo Je-Moon. He has a hot-temper and pursues justice. If Kang Ha-Neul accepts, he will play Public Prosecutor No Jin-Pyeong. He is shaken after witnessing the death of his mentor.
Filming for “Bad Guys 2” begins July, 2017 and the drama series will air sometime around November, 2017 in South Korea.

“Secret Forest” (literal title) is set to become the first tvN drama series to air Saturday and Sunday at 9PM. The drama series was originally scheduled to air Friday and Saturday at 8PM/8:30PM following “Chicago Typewriter.” Going forwards, tvN will air their weekend drama series on Saturday and Sunday instead of Friday and Saturday. “Secret Forest” stars Cho Seung-Woo & Bae Doo-Na as a prosecutor and detective. Lastly, tvN is set to premiere a drama series in a new Wednesday and Thursday prime time slot beginning July, 2017.
