Jung Yu-Mi offered lead female role in drama series “Live”

Jung Yu-Mi has been offered the lead female role in new drama series “Live.” The drama series will be directed by Kim Kyu-Tae and scripted by No Hee-Kyung. Kim Kyu-Tae and No Hee-Kyung have previously collaborated in drama series “Worlds Within……,” “Padam Padam… The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats,” “That Winter, The Wind Blows” and “It’s Ok, This is Love.” Currently, Jung Yu-Mi is considering the offer. Story for the drama series will revolve around a police officer at a police precinct office. Broadcasting station for “Live” has to be decided.

Han Ye-Seul offered lead female role in MBC drama series “No Sex and the City”

Han Ye-Seul has been offered a leading female role in upcoming MBC drama series “No Sex and the City” (working title). If Han Ye-Seul accepts, she will play a lead female character in the drama series. Story for “No Sex and the City” will follow the lives of three 35-year-old single women.

“No Sex and the City” first airs September, 2017 (takes over MBC’s Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot after “King Loves“).

Yeo Jin-Goo and Lee Yeon-Hee cast in SBS drama series “Reunited Worlds”

Yeo Jin-Goo and Lee Yeon-Hee are now cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Reunited Worlds” (literal title). The genre of the drama series is fantasy-romance. For drama series “Reunited Worlds,” Yeo Jin-Goo will play naive, 18-year-old Sung Hae-Sung. Lee Yeon-Hee will play 31-year-old Eom Hyun-Soo. Somehow these two were born the same year and former childhood friends.

“Reunited Worlds” first airs July 19, 2017 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot after “Suspicious Partner“).

Song Seung-Heon and Go Ara offered lead roles in OCN drama series “Black”

Song Seung-Heon and Go Ara have been offered the lead roles in new OCN drama series “Black.” Currently, both performers are “positively considering” the offers. If Song Seung-Heon accepts, he will play a detective named Black who is possessed by the Grim Reaper. If Go Ara accepts, she will play a woman able to see the shadows of death. These two characters work together to save lives even though they are breaking the rules of Heaven.

“Black” first airs October, 2017 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 10:20PM time slot after “Save Me“).

Here’s the first still images of Shin Se-Kyung in upcoming tvN drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017” co-starring Nam Joo-Hyuk. In drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017,” Shin Se-Kyung plays Yoon So-A. She works as a psychiatrist and is destined to live as a servant to the Water God. Shin Se-Kyung had her hair cut to play Yoon So-A and sports a bob cut. It’s the first time she cut her hair to play a role in her acting career.

“Bride of the Water God 2017” first airs July 3, 2017 in South Korea.

Ji-Woo and Choi A-Ra are cast in JTBC drama series “Age of Youth Season 2”

Ji-Woo and Choi A-Ra are cast for leading roles in upcoming JTBC drama series “Age of Youth Season 2.”

Ji-Woo will replace Park Hye-Soo from season 1 and play Yoo Eun-Jae. Due to scheduling conflicts, Park Hye-Soo is unable to appear in season 2. For Choi A-Ra, she will play new character Jo Eun. She moves into the share house occupied by the 4 other main girls: Yoon Jin-Myung (Han Ye-Ri), Jung Ye-Eun (Han Seung-Yeon), Song Ji-Won (Park Eun-Bin) & Yoo Eun-Jae (Ji-Woo). Jo Eun will take the room vacated by Kang Yi-Na (Ryu Hwa-Young).

In addition, Kim Min-Suk and Onew (‘SHINee’) are cast in supporting roles for the drama series. Kim Min-Suk will play Seo Jang-Hoon. His character works as a representative for the share house owner. Onew will play Kwon Ho-Chang. His character isn’t very good when it comes to dating. He gets involved in a romantic relationship with Ye-Eun (Han Seung-Yeon).

The first script reading for “Age of Youth Season 2” is scheduled to take place today June 7, 2017.

First script reading for OCN drama series “Save Me”

First script reading for OCN drama series “Save Me” (literal title), starring TaecYeon (‘2PM’) & Seo Ye-Ji, took place April, 2017 at Studio Dragon Corporation in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. The first script reading included main cast members TaecYeon, Seo Ye-Ji, Woo Do-Hwan, Cho Seong-Ha, Jo Jae-Yun and David Lee among others. The drama series is a thriller revolving around a cult religious group, but also includes some lighter moments involving Han Sang-Hwan (TaecYeon) and his three friends.
