Kim Ji-Soo & Seo In-Guk cast for lead roles in Netflix drama “Boyfriend on Demand”

Kim Ji-Soo (Blackpink) and Seo In-Guk are cast for lead roles in Netflix drama series “Boyfriend on Demand” (working title). The drama series is a romantic-comedy directed by Kim Jung-Sik (“No Gain No Love“). Kim Ji-Soo and Seo In-Guk will webtoon producers who work for the same company and are rivals. Kim Ji-Soo’s character Seo Mi-Rae is busy career woman and doesn’t have time for romance. Things change for her when she experiences a virtual reality device that allows her to meet beyond perfect men.

Release date for “Boyfriend on Demand” has not yet been revealed.

Teaser poster and air date set for upcoming drama series “The Divorce Insurance” starring Lee Dong-Wook, Lee Joo-Bin, Lee Kwang-Soo, & Lee Da-Hee. Cho Yi-Hyun and Choo Yeong-Woo cast in tvN drama “Gyeon-Woo and the Fairy”

Cho Yi-Hyun and Choo Yeong-Woo are cast in tvN drama series “Gyeon-Woo and the Fairy” (literal title). The teen-romance drama series is based on popular webcomic “Gyeonwoowa Sunnyeo” by An Soo-Min and directed by Kim Yong-Wan (“The Whirlwind“). Lead actress Cho Yi-Hyun will play high school student Park Sung-A, who also works as a popular fortune teller at night. Choo Yeong-Woo will play high school student Bae Gyeon-Woo. His destiny crosses paths with Park Sung-A.

“Gyeon-Woo and the Fairy” will air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Villains Everywhere” starring Oh Na-Ra and So Yu-Jin. The teaser trailer starts off with So Yu-Jin stating “The crazy woman in this are is you Oh Na-Ra” as Oh Na-Ra gets slapped with a squid. The drama series is a comedy revolving around two sisters and their families. Lee Joon-Ho and Kim Min-Ha cast in tvN drama “Typhoon Trading Company”

Lee Joon-Ho and Kim Min-Ha are cast in tvN drama series “Typhoon Trading Company” (literal title). The drama series is set in 1997, while South Korea was going through an economic crisis. Lee Joon-Ho will play Kang Tae-Poong. Although he lived a carefree life, as his father ran a trading company, he steps into the role of the CEO after his father passes away. He tries to save the company during the tough economic times. Kim Min-Ha will play Oh Mi-Sun. She works at the trading company as an accountant.

“Typhoon Trading Company” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer 3 added for MBC drama series “Undercover High School” starring Seo Kang-Joon, Jin Ki-Joo, and Kim Shin-Rok. The drama series features Seo Kang-Joon as NIS Agent Jung Hae-Seong, who goes undercover at high school to locate missing historical gold bars. Teaser three showcases the upcoming conflict between Jung Hae-Seong and Seo Myeong-Joo (Kim Shin-Rok). Seo Myeong-Joo is the chairwoman of the Byeongmun Fondation and Byeongmun High School, where Jung Hae-Seong ends up attending. Her daughter Lee Ye-Na (Kim Min-Ju) is also a student at the high school.

Woo Do-Hwan cast in Disney+ drama “Made in Korea”

Woo Do-Hwan is cast in Disney+ drama series “Made in Korea” starring Hyun-Bin and Jung Woo-Sung. For the drama series, Woo Do-Hwan will play the younger brother of Baek Ki-Tae (Hyun-Bin). More detailed character description for Woo Do-Hwan’s role has not yet been revealed. Drama series is directed by Woo Min-Ho (“Inside Men“). Meanwhile, filming for the drama series in currently underway.

Teaser poster and release date added for movie “Somebody” starring Kwak Sun-Young, Kwon Yuri, and Lee Seol. The psychological-thriller film is based on webcomic “Chimbeom” by Kong Se-Ri and held its world premiere at the 2024 Busan International Film Festival in October. Caption on the teaser poster states “If you do something wrong, you should be punished.”
