Teaser poster & air date set for JTBC drama “Good Boy”

Teaser poster and ep.1 air date set for JTBC drama series “Good Boy” starring Park Bo-Gum & Kim So-Hyun. The teaser poster features Park Bo-Gum as Yoon Dong-Joo. His character is a former Olympic boxer and he now works as a police officer. To play his role of Yoon Dong-Joo, Park Bo-Gum went through strength training and boxing lessons for over 6 months.

“Good Boy” is now set to first air May 31, 2025 in South Korea (takes over JTBC’s Saturday and Sunday 10:40 PM time slot after “Heavenly Ever After“).

Teaser trailer for tvN drama “Second Shot at Love”

New teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Second Shot at Love” starring Sooyoung and Gong Myung. The teaser trailer is title “The War on Alcohol Teaser” and is the fifth teaser released for the upcoming drama series. The teaser trailer begins with Kim Sung-Ryoung (playing the mother of Sooyoung’s character Han Geum-Joo) asking “You said that you liked alcohol more? You said that you want to call off the wedding?,” this is followed by (0:08) Sooyoung “I’m not an alocholic. I’m an alochol lover,” (0:11) Kim Sung-Ryoung “Everyone, keep in mind. From now on, there will be no alcohol in this house,” (0:20) Sooyoung “I realize that i really like alcohol,” (0:25) Gong Myung “Geum-Joo, let’s quit drinking alcohol.” 

“Second Shot at Love” will first air May 12, 2025 in South Korea.

Jung Kyoung-Ho & So Ju-Yeon cast in tvN drama “Pro Bono”

Jung Kyoung-Ho and So Ju-Yeon are cast in tvN drama series “Pro Bono” (working title). The drama series will show a comical court room drama about a former judge, played by Jung Kyoung-Ho, who becomes a public interest lawyer, and a geeky public interest lawyer played by So Ju-Yeon. They work together for a nonprofit in a corner of a building that doesn’t even get sunlight. “Pro Bono” is written by Moon Yoo-Seok (“Ms. Hammurabi“) and directed by Kim Sung-Yoon (“Itaewon Class“).

“Pro Bono” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Character posters & release date for TVING drama “Shark: The Storm”

Character posters and release date revealed for upcoming TVING drama series “Shark: The Storm” starring Kim Min-Suk and Lee Hyun-Wook. Drama series is based on webcomic “Shark” written by Woon and a sequel to 2021 TVING movie “Shark: The Beginning.” The character posters are of Kim Min-Suk as aspiring MMA fighter Cha Woo-Sol and Lee Hyun-Wook as villain Hyun Woo-Yong. Caption on Kim Min-Suk’s character poster states “I have to fight, like a a shark that never stops.” Caption on Lee Hyun-Wook’s character poster states “Cha Woo-Sol, this is completely destiny.”   

All 6 episodes of the drama series will be available to stream on May 15, 2025.

Main cast for tvN drama “For the First Love”

Yum Jung-Ah, Park Hae-Joon, Choi Yoon-Ji, & Kim Min-Kyu are cast in tvN drama series “For the First Love” (literal title). The drama series features an original screenplay by Seong Woo-Jin that revolves around a single middle-aged mother and her medical school daughter as their lives suddenly change. They meet a single middle-aged father and his son. Yum Jung-Ah will play the mother, Choi Yoon-Ji will play her daughter, Park Hae-Joon will play the father, and Kim Min-Kyu will play his son.

“For the First Love” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Main cast announced for Disney+ drama “A Shop for Killers S2”

Lee Dong-Wook, Kim Hye-Jun, & Jo Han-Sun are cast in Disney+ drama series “A Shop for Killers S2.” Also set to reprise their roles for the sequel drama series are Geum Hannah (So Min-Hye), Lee Tae-Young (Brother), and Kim Min (Pasin). Cast to play new characters in S2 are Hyunri, Masaki Okada, and Jung Yun-Ha. Actress Yunri will play Q, who is the leader of the East Asian branch of the Babylon mercenary team. Masaki Okada will play J, who is a co-leader of the Babylon East Asian branch and the younger brother of Q. Jung Yun-Ha will play Kusanagi, who is the head of the Babylon East Asian branch.

Filming for “A Shop for Killers S2” has already begun and the drama series is expected to be available to stream sometime in 2026.
