Kim Ji-Soo (Blackpink) and Seo In-Guk are cast for lead roles in Netflix drama series “Boyfriend on Demand” (working title). The drama series is a romantic-comedy directed by Kim Jung-Sik (“No Gain No Love“). Kim Ji-Soo and Seo In-Guk will webtoon producers who work for the same company and are rivals. Kim Ji-Soo’s character Seo Mi-Rae is busy career woman and doesn’t have time for romance. Things change for her when she experiences a virtual reality device that allows her to meet beyond perfect men.

The teen-romance drama series is based on popular webcomic “Gyeonwoowa Sunnyeo” by An Soo-Min and directed by Kim Yong-Wan (“The Whirlwind“). Lead actress Cho Yi-Hyun will play high school student Park Sung-A, who also works as a popular fortune teller at night. Choo Yeong-Woo will play high school student Bae Gyeon-Woo. His destiny crosses paths with Park Sung-A.

The teaser trailer starts off with So Yu-Jin stating “The crazy woman in this are is you Oh Na-Ra” as Oh Na-Ra gets slapped with a squid. Lee Joon-Ho and Kim Min-Ha are cast in tvN drama series “Typhoon Trading Company” (literal title). The drama series is set in 1997, while South Korea was going through an economic crisis. Lee Joon-Ho will play Kang Tae-Poong. Although he lived a carefree life, as his father ran a trading company, he steps into the role of the CEO after his father passes away. He tries to save the company during the tough economic times. Kim Min-Ha will play Oh Mi-Sun. She works at the trading company as an accountant.

The drama series features Seo Kang-Joon as NIS Agent Jung Hae-Seong, who goes undercover at high school to locate missing historical gold bars. Teaser three showcases the upcoming conflict between Jung Hae-Seong and Seo Myeong-Joo (Kim Shin-Rok). Seo Myeong-Joo is the chairwoman of the Byeongmun Fondation and Byeongmun High School, where Jung Hae-Seong ends up attending. Her daughter Lee Ye-Na (Kim Min-Ju) is also a student at the high school.

Woo Do-Hwan is cast in Disney+ drama series “Made in Korea” starring Hyun-Bin and Jung Woo-Sung. For the drama series, Woo Do-Hwan will play the younger brother of Baek Ki-Tae (Hyun-Bin). More detailed character description for Woo Do-Hwan’s role has not yet been revealed. Drama series is directed by Woo Min-Ho (“Inside Men“). Meanwhile, filming for the drama series in currently underway.
