Woo Do-Hwan offered villain role in movie “Saja”

Woo Do-Hwan, currently starring in MBC drama series “Great Seducer,” has been offered a major supporting character role in upcoming movie “Saja.” Currently, Woo Do-Hwan is considering the offer and he has not made a decision yet. If he accepts, Woo Do-Hwan will play a villain who is in conflict with the lead character (Park Seo-Joon has been offered the lead character role, but has not yet decided). Movie is written and directed by Kim Joo-Hwan (“Midnight Runners“).

Filming for “Saja” will begin in the second half of this year.

Chang Ki-Yong and Jin Ki-Joo cast in MBC drama series “Come Here and Give Me A Hug”

Chang Ki-Yong and Jin Ki-Joo are cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Come Here and Give Me A Hug” (literal title). Veteran actor Heo Jun-Ho is also cast for a major supporting role. The drama series will follow a young detective (Chang Ki-Yong) and a popular actress (Jin Ki-Joo). They are both tied to a murder case that took place in their past. Heo Jun-Ho plays a serial killer.

“Come Here and Give Me A Hug” first airs May 16, 2018 in South Korea.

Park Sung-Woong and Ko Ah-Sung cast in OCN drama series “Life on Mars”

Park Sung-Woong and Ko Ah-Sung are cast in OCN drama series “Life on Mars” co-starring Jung Kyoung-Ho. The drama series is a remake of UK television series “Life on Mars.” For the drama series, Park Sung-Woong will play Kang Dong-Cheol in the year 1988. He is a veteran detective and relies on his instincts during investigations. Ko Ah-Sung will play Yoon Na-Young in the year 1988. She is introduced to profiling through Han Tae-Joo (Jung Kyoung-Ho) who has traveled through time from the present days.

“Life on Mars” will first air June, 2018 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 10:20 PM time slot after “Mistress“).

Do Kyung-Soo and Nam Ji-Hyun cast in tvN drama series “Hundred Days’ Husband”

Do Kyung-Soo (‘EXO’) and Nam Ji-Hyun are now cast in upcoming tvN period drama series “Hundred Days’ Husband” (literal title). Do Kyung-Soo will play Crown Prince Lee Yool. The Crown Prince suddenly goes missing. Nam Ji-Hyun will play Hong-Sim. She runs the first private detective agency in Joseon.

In addition, Cho Seong-Ha and Kim Sun-Ho are cast for the supporting roles. Cho Seong-Ha will play Kim Cha-Eon. He is actually the most powerful man in Joseon. The first script reading for the drama series took place March 21, 2018 and filming will begin April, 2018. The drama series will air as a 100% pre-production and will premiere sometime in the latter part of this year.

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Suits”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Suits,” starring Jang Dong-Gun and Park Hyung-Sik, took place February 12, 2018. Drama series is a remake of U.S. television series “Suits.” The first script reading included main cast members Jang Dong-Gun, Park Hyung-Sik, Chae Jung-AnKo Sung-HeeHwang Tae-GwangJin Hee-Kyung and Choi Gwi-Hwa. The first script reading took about 4 hours to complate.

“Suits” first airs April 25, 2018 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday and Thursday 10 PM time slot after “Queen of Mystery 2“).

First script reading for OCN drama series “Mistress” took place March 15, 2018 at Studio Dragon in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. The drama series is a remake of UK television series “Mistresses.” At the first script reading, main cast members including Han Ga-InShin Hyun-BinChoi Hee-SeoGoo Jae-YeeLee Hee-JoonPark Byung-EunOh Jung-Se and Ji Il-Joo all attended.

“Mistress” first airs April 28, 2018 in South Korea.

Lee Joon-Ho, Jang Hyuk & Jung Ryeo-Won cast in SBS drama series “Greasy Melo”

Lee Joon-Ho (‘2PM’), Jang Hyuk and Jung Ryeo-Won are all cast for lead roles in upcoming SBS drama series “Greasy Melo” (literal title). Lee Joon-Ho will play Seo Poong. He was once a star chef, but he now works at a failing Chinese restaurant. Jang Hyuk will play Doo Chil-Seong. He is a loan shark and runs a Chinese restaurant. Jung Ryeo-Won will play Dan Sae-Woo. She is a daughter of a rich family.

“Greasy Melo” first airs May, 2018 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Monday and Tuesday 10 PM time slot after “Should We Kiss First“).
