First script reading for upcoming SBS drama series “Wok of Love” took place March, 2018 in South Korea. The script reading featured main cast members Lee Joon-Ho (‘2PM’), Jang Hyuk, Jung Ryeo-Won, Lee Mi-Sook, Park Ji-Young, Lim Won-Hee and Jo Jae-Yun. The drama series has Lee Joon-Ho playing Chef Seo Poong. He worked at the top Chinese restaurant, but he now works at a small, failing Chinese restaurant. Jang Hyuk plays a former gangster, now a loan shark.

As you might suspect, the drama series is set around the Korean legal system which is a civil law based system.

Currently, Song Seung-Heon is considering his offer and Krystal is positively considering her offer. If Song Song Seung-Heon accepts the offer, he will play lead male character Kang Ha-Ri. If Krystal accepts the offer, she will play the lead female character Cha A-Ryeong. The Korean title of the drama series is “Pan” which has multiple, different meanings. Cable channel OCN is currently in discussion to air the drama series.

First script reading for upcoming MBC weekday morning drama series “Secrets and Lies” (literal title) took place March 29, 2018 at MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, South Korea. The first script reading featured main cast members Seo Hae-Won, Oh Seung-A, Kim Kyung-Nam and Lee Joong-Moon among others. Before the first script reading began, Director Kim Jung-Ho stated “I hope when we finish this drama, we can get better and gain something. It can be as an actor or actress or relationship.”
