Park Min-Young & Kim Jae-Wook cast in tvN drama series “Her Private Life”

Park Min-Young & Kim Jae-Wook are cast for lead roles in upcoming tvN drama series “Her Private Life” (English title). For the drama series, Park Min-Young will play art gallery curator Sung Deok-Mi. She is a huge fan of an idol group member and secretly runs his fan website. Kim Jae-Wook will play Ryan. He becomes the director of the art gallery where Sung Deok-Mi works and takes an interest in her. The drama series is based on 2007 novel “Noona Paen Datkom” by Kim Sung-Yeon.

“Her Private Life” will first air April 3, 2019 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 PM time slot after “Touch Your Heart“).

Teaser trailer #6 added for upcoming MBC drama series “Item” starring Ju Ji-Hoon, Jin Se-Yun and Kim Kang-Woo. As you can see from teaser trailer #6, the drama series features supernatural-fantasy elements bound within a tense thriller script. Teaser trailer #5 for JTBC drama series “The Light in Your Eyes”

Teaser trailer #5 added for JTBC drama series “The Light in Your Eyes” (English title) starring Han Ji-Min, Kim Hye-Ja, Nam Joo-Hyuk and Son Ho-Jun. Teaser trailer #5 features Son Ho-Jun as Kim Young-Soo and supporting actress Kim Ga-Eun as Lee Hyun-Joo. With JTBC’s favorite song “Stand by Your Man” playing in the background, the teaser trailer starts off with Son Ho-Jun narrating “Do you remember? It was the first time it snowed that year. You confessed under the pedestrian overpass that you liked me.”

Meanwhile, below are characters posters of the four lead actors: Kim Hye-Ja as Kim Hye-Ja, Han Ji-Min as Kim Hye-Ja, Nam Joo-Hyuk as Lee Joon-Ha and Son Ho-Jun as Kim Young-Soo. “The Light in Your Eyes” first airs February 11, 2019 in South Korea.

Im Si-Wan cast in OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell”

Im Si-Wan (ZE:A) is cast in new OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell” (literal title). Im Si-Wan will play main character role of Yoon Jong-Woo in the drama series. Im Si-Wan is currently serving in the South Korean military, but he is scheduled to be discharged on March 27, 2019. Drama series “Strangers From Hell” is based on webcomic “Taineun Jiokida” by Kim Yong-Ki.

“Strangers From Hell” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #3 for SBS drama series “The Fiery Priest”

Teaser trailer #3 added for upcoming SBS drama series “The Fiery Priest” (English title) starring Kim Nam-Gil, Kim Sung-Kyun and Lee Ha-Nee. While “The Fiery Priest” follows other recent dramas that features priests like OCN drama series’ “The Guest” and “Priest,” “The Fiery Priest” does not contain horror-supernatural elements like those drama series. Colorful supporting characters played by Jung In-Gi, Lee Moon-Sik, Kim Won-Hae and Ahn Chang-Hwan appear for the first time in teaser trailer #3.

“The Fiery Priest” first airs February 15, 2019 in South Korea.

First script reading for MBC drama series “Special Labor Inspector Jo Jang-Poong”

First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “Special Labor Inspector Jo Jang-Poong” took place early January, 2019 in South Korea. At the first script reading, main cast members including Kim Dong-Wook, Park Se-Young, Kim Kyung-Nam, Seol In-A, Oh Dae-Hwan, Song Ok-Suk, Lee Won-Jong and Kim Hong-Fa attended. The drama series has Kim Dong-Wook playing Jo Jin-Gab. He works as a labor inspector for the government. Park Se-Young plays Joo Mi-Ran. She is a detective and ex-wife of Jo Jin-Gab. Kim Kyung-Nam will play Cheon Deok-Koo. He is an assistant to Jo Jin-Gab and his former student.

“Special Labor Inspector Jo Jang-Poong” first airs April, 2019 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Monday and Tuesday 10 PM time slot after “Item.”).

Teaser trailers #3 & #4 and character teaser posters added for JTBC drama series “Legal High” starring Jin Goo and Seo Eun-Su. Teaser trailer #3 is notable as it shows actual footage from the drama series for the first time and teaser trailer #4 is a character teaser trailer for attorneys Ko Tae-Rim (Jin Goo) and Seo Jae-In (Seo Eun-Su). The character posters above and below are also of Ko Tae-Rim (Jin Goo) and Seo Jae-In (Seo Eun-Su). The drama series is a remake of 2012 Fuji TV drama series “Legal High.”
