Seo Hyun-Jin, Ra Mi-Ran & Ha-Joon cast in tvN drama series “Black Dog”

Seo Hyun-Jin, Ra Mi-Ran & Ha-Joon are cast in tvN drama series “Black Dog.” The drama series is set at a private high school where Seo Hyun-Jin will begin work as a temporary teacher. Ra Mi-Ran and Ha-Joon will play teachers at the same private high school and become friends with Seo Hyun-Jin’s character.

“Black Dog” first airs December 16, 2019 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot after “Catch The Ghost.”).

First teaser trailer for “Crash Landing on You”

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Crash Landing on You” starring Son Ye-Jin & Hyun-Bin. The teaser trailer features scenic shots, which some took place in Switzerland and Mongolia. Filming for the Switzerland scenes in the drama series took place August, 2019 and filming in Monologia took place September, 2019. The drama series follows a rich South Korean heiress and a North Korean soldier.

Exact air dates for “Crash Landing on You” has yet to be revealed, the teaser trailer does say “Coming Soon.”

Sooyoung cast in OCN drama series “Say What You Saw”

Sooyoung is cast for the lead female role in OCN drama series “Say What You Saw” (literal title). Actor Jang Hyuk has already received an offered to play the lead male role and he is still considering that offer. Actress Jin Seo-Yeon has also been offered a major supporting character role and she is still considering that offer. The drama series will have Sooyoung playing Detective Cha Soo-Young. She has a special ability that allows her to remember everything that she saw. The drama series will be directed by Lee Joon-Hyeong (“Quiz from God“).

“Say What You Saw” will first air sometime during the first half of 2020 in South Korea.

Here’s the first still images from JTBC drama series “Chocolate” starring Yoon Kye-Sang and Ha Ji-Wo. The still image above is of Yoon Kye-Sang as Lee Kang and Ha Ji-Won as Moon Cha-Young, walking near the sea. They knew each other when they were children and meet again. The still images below are of Lee Kang (Yoon Kye Sang) who works as a neurosurgeon and Moon Cha-Young (Ha Ji-Won) who works as a chef.

Jin Se-Yun & Kim Min-Kyu cast in TV Chosun drama series “Gantaek: The War Between Women”

Jin Se-Yun and Kim Min-Kyu are cast for the lead roles in TV Chosun drama series “Gantaek: The War Between Women” (literal title). Lee Si-Un, Do Sang-Woo and Lee Yeol-Eum are also cast for major supporting character roles. The drama series will depict a war between women attempting to become the king. Jin Se-Yun will play Kang Eun-Bo. She is one of those women trying to become the queen. Kim Min-Kyu will play King Lee Kyung. “Gantaek” in the Korean title of the drama series refers to the process of selecting a spouse for the king of crown prince.

“Gantaek: The War Between Women” first airs December 15, 2019 in South Korea (takes over TV Chosun’s Sunday 9:30 PM time slot after “Leverage“).

Teaser trailer for MBC drama series “Never Twice”

Teaser trailer added for MBC Saturday drama series “Never Twice” (English title) starring Park Se-Wan, Kwak Dong-Yeon, Youn Yuh-Jung, Oh Ji-Ho and Ye Ji-Won. The teaser trailer is setup like a Korean variety show, where actors show up at a guest house to spend time together doing various activities. The drama series itself revolves around the modest guesthouse “Paradise Inn” run by Youn Yuh-Jung’s Bok Mak-Rye. Guests can stay there short term or long term. Across the street from the inn is the 5 star hotel Koosung Hotel, run by the family of Kwak Dong-Yeon’s Na Hae-Joon. For Kwak Dong-Yeon and Youn Yuh-Jung, they last acted together in 2012 KBS2 drama series “My Husband Got a Family” where Kwak Dong-Yeon played a supporting role. He is now the lead male actor in “Never Twice.”

“Never Twice” will first air November 2, 2019 (takes over MBC’s Saturday 9PM time slot after “Golden Garden.”).

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Psychopath Diary” starring Yoon Si-Yoon, Jung In-Sun & Park Sung-Hoon. The teaser begins with the voice of Yoon Si-Yoon as he states in Korean “The only clue to bring my memory back. This diary is telling me that I’m a serial killer.” Meanwhile, below are still images of Yoon Si-Yoon in the drama series. The scenes depict his character as being a pushover at work and he doesn’t get along with his co-workers.

Kim Soo-Hyun offered lead male role in tvN drama series “Psycho But It’s Okay”

Kim Soo-Hyun has been offered the lead male role in tvN drama series “Psycho But It’s Okay” (literal title). Actress Park Shin-Hye has already received an offer to play the lead female role and they are both considering their offers. If Kim Soo-Hyun accepts the offer, this will be his first starring role since being discharged from the military on July 1, 2019. Kim Soo-Hyun has only done a cameo role, albeit a popular one in tvN drama “Hotel Del Luna,” since becoming a civilian again. The drama series will be directed by Park Shin-Woo (“Encounter“).

“Psycho But It’s Okay” will air sometime in the first half of next year in South Korea.
