Jang Hyuk & Jin Seo-Yeon are cast in OCN drama series “Say What You Saw,” co-starring Sooyoung. Jang-Hyuk will play lead male character Oh Hyun-Jae. He works as a criminal profiler. Jin Seo-Yeon will play major supporting character Hwang Hwa-Young. She is the team leader of an investigation team.

First script reading for JTBC drama series “Itaewon Class,” starring Park Seo-Joon, Kim Da-Mi, Yoo Jae-Myung, and Kwon Na-Ra, took place August, 2019 at JTBC Building in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. The first script reading were led director Kim Sung-Yoon and screenwriter Jo Gwang-Jin. Main cast members that attended the first script reading included Park Seo-Joon, Kim Da-Mi, Yoo Jae-Myung, Kwon Na-Ra, Kim Dong-Hee, Ahn Bo-Hyun, Kim Hye-Eun, Ryoo Kyung-Soo, and Lee Joo-Young. The drama series is based on webcomic “Itaewon Class” by Jo Gwang-Jin (he also writes the screenplay adaptation). For Park Seo-Joon, he stated at the first script reading “Now, I can feel that the drama series is beginning with the first script reading practice. I am fluttering. With this fluttering mind, I will be at my best while shooting.”

Ep.1 trailer added for JTBC drama series “Chief of Staff 2” starring Lee Jung-Jae and Shin Min-A. In season 2, Lee Jung-Jae as Jang Tae-Joon has now moved from chief of staff to a lawmaker. Around the 24 second mark of the ep.1 trailer, Lee Jung-Jae’s voice appears and he states “Let’s start now. Eric and Go Won-Hee are cast in new Channel A drama series “Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon.” The romantic-comedy drama series is set in the rural town of Seoha Village. Eric will play popular Chef Moon. He moves to Seoha Village after his parents die in a fire. Go Won-Hee will play fashion designer Yoo Yoo-Jin. A car accident causes her to lose her memory and she ends up in Seoha Village.

Ep.1 trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Gracious Revenge” starring Choi Myoung-Gil and Cha Ye-Ryun. The drama series slots into KBS2’s Monday-Friday 7:50 pm time slot after “A Place in the Sun.” Ep.1 trailer has Choi Myoung-Gil narrating at the 18 second mark with “Murderer … there is nothing in my life now. I lost everything.” At around the 30 second mark, Choi Myoung-Gil states “It has been 30 years.” At the 32 second mark, Cha Ye-Ryun’s voice appears and she states “Finally, it has been 30 years.” Meanwhile, above and below are two posters for the drama series.

Kim So-Hyun, Jung Ga-Ram & Song Kang are cast in Netflix drama series “Love Alarm Season 2.” All three performers will reprise their respective characters from season 1 of “Love Alarm.” The drama series is based on webcomic of “Joahamyun Woolrineun” by Cheon Kye-Young. Further details of the new drama series has yet to be revealed.
Expect “Love Alarm Season 2” to be available to stream on Netflix sometime next year.
Mun Ka-Young is cast for the lead female role in MBC drama series “Memoir of the Man” (literal title). Kim Dong-Wook has also been offered the lead male role and he is still “positively considering” his offer. Story for the drama series will be a romance story between an anchorman, who remembers every moment in his life due to hyperthymesia, and an actress (Mun Ka-Young) who doesn’t remember her past. Mun Ka-Young;s most recent work is a starring role in JTBC drama series “Welcome to Waikiki 2.”
