Teaser trailer #3 for KBS2 drama series “The King’s Affection”

New teaser trailer #3 added for KBS2 drama series “The King’s Affection” starring Park Eun-Bin & Ro Woon. The drama series will also stream on Netflix, immediately after it airs on KBS2. The teaser trailer begins with someone asking “Have you heard of Dongbingo?” Dongbingo means “ice storage in the east” (term used during Joseon period) and is also the nickname of Crown Prince Lee Hwi’s (Park Eun-Bin). The teaser also shows that Crown Prince Lee Hwi doesn’t let people come within 5 steps, because he is actually a woman disguised as a man. The first moment that Lee Hwi and Jung Ji-Woon (Ro Woon) meet is also shown.

“The King’s Affection” will first air October 11, 2021 in South Korea.

First script reading for SBS drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up”

First script reading for SBS drama series “Now, We Are Breaking Up” (literal title), starring Song Hye-Kyo & Jang Ki-Yong, took place April, 2021 in South Korea. The photos above and below are from the first script reading. People that attended the reading included director Lee Gil-Bok (“Dr. Romantic 2“), screenwriter Je-In (“Misty“), Song Hye-Kyo, Jang Ki-Yong, Choi Hee-Seo, Kim Joo-Hun, Park Hyo-Joo, Yoon Na-Moo, Yun Jung-Hee, Joo Jin-Mo, and Cha Hwa-Yeon. Filming for the drama series began April, 2021 and finished September 12, 2021. Meanwhile, Actor Jang Ki-Yong enlisted in the South Korean military on August 23, 2021.

“Now, We Are Breaking Up” first airs November, 2021 in South Korea.

Ji Chang-Wook, Sung Dong-Il & Sooyoung cast in drama “If You Say Wish”

Ji Chang-Wook, Sung Dong-Il and Sooyoung are cast in new drama series “If You Say Wish” (literal title of “Dangshini Sowoneul Malhamyeon”). The drama series is inspired by the Ambulance Wish Foundation, which is charity program that grants wishes to terminally ill patients. In the drama series, Ji Chang-Wook will play Yoon Gyeo-Rye. He lived a very tough life, before he begins volunteering at a hospice.

Filming for “If You Say Wish” began September 27, 2021. Air date and broadcasting network has not yet been revealed.

Lee Da-Hee, Cha Eun-Woo, & Sung Joon cast in OCN drama “Island”

Lee Da-Hee, Cha Eun-Woo, & Sung Joon are cast in OCN drama series “Island” co-starring Kim Nam-Gil. For Lee Da-Hee, she will play lead female character Won Mi-Ho. Cha Eun-Woo will play Catholic Priest John and Sung Joon will play Gungtan. The drama series is set on Jeju Island and follows three people as they fight against evil.

Filming for “Island” will begin October, 2021 and the drama series will air sometime in the first half of 2022.
