Kim Ok-Vin and Yoo Teo cast in Netflix drama “Love Battle”

Kim Ok-Vin and Yoo Teo are cast in Netflix drama series “Love Battle” (literal title). The drama series is a romantic-comedy, with Kim Ok-Vin playing entertainment attorney Yeo Mi-Ran and Yoo Tae playing top actor Nam Gang-Ho. They fall in love, but experience a battle like relationship. Drama series will be directed by Kim Jeong-Kwon (“Ditto“) and scripted by Choi Soo-Young (“ID: Gangnam Beauty“).

“Love Battle” will be available to stream on Netflix, but a release date has not yet been set.

First teaser poster for SBS drama “Our Beloved Summer”

First teaser poster added for SBS drama series “Our Beloved Summer” starring Choi Woo-Sik & Kim Da-Mi. Caption on the teaser poster states “Early summer, of the year when I fell for you.” The teaser poster also reveals that ep.1 of “Our Beloved Summer” will air December 6, 2021. The drama series will take over SBS’ Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot that was recently vacated by “Lovers of the Red Sky.”

Ahn Bo-Hyun & Jo Bo-Ah cast in tvN drama “Military Prosecutor Doberman”

Ahn Bo-Hyun and Jo Bo-Ah are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Military Prosecutor Doberman” (literal title). Also cast for major supporting character roles are Oh Yeon-Su, Kim Young-Min, & Kim Woo-Seok. The drama series will have Ahn Bo-Hyun playing Do Bae-Man. He works as a military prosecutor, but just views his job as a means to make money. Jo Bo-Ah will play Cha Woo-In. She is a rookie prosecutor. Do Bae-Man and Cha Woo-In work together on cases involving the military.

“Military Prosecutor Doberma” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Jaehyun cast in KakaoTV drama “Bungee Jumping of Their Own”

Jaehyun from boy band NCT is cast for a lead role in KakaoTV drama series “Bungee Jumping of Their Own.” The drama series is a remake of 2001 South Korean film “Bungee Jumping of Their Own” starring Lee Byung-Hun & Lee Eun-Ju. In the drama series, Jaehyun will play high school student Lim Hyeon-Bin. He reminds his teacher of his deceased girlfriend.

Filming for “Bungee Jumping of Their Own” will begin January, 2022 and the drama series will be available to stream sometime in the second half of next year.

Lee Joon, Kang Han-Na, & Jang Hyuk cast in KBS2 drama “Red Single Heart”

Lee Joon, Kang Han-Na, & Jang Hyuk are cast in KBS2 drama series “Red Single Heart” (literal title). The drama series is in historical times and Lee Joon will play King Lee Tae. The vice premiere, who holds more power than the king, will be played by Jang Hyuk. Kang Han-Na will play Yoo Jung. She is in a relationship with King Lee Tae. For Lee Joon and Jang Hyuk, the two men last worked together in 2013 KBS2 drama series “IRIS 2.”

“Red Single Heart” will first air sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.

Narration in the teaser trailer has Shim Dal-Gi stating (0:01) “I have a secret,” (0:22) “No one should know,” (0:31) “Who are you really?” Below are the first teaser posters for the drama series.

Teaser trailer for tvN drama “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls”

Teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” (English title) starring Lee Jin-Wook, Kwon Na-Ra, Lee Joon, & Gong Seung-Yeon. The teaser trailer has Lee Jin-Wook’s voice around the 11 second mark stating “Can’t kill and can’t die. Bulgasal.” The fantasy themed drama series follows a man who became Bulgasal as he chases after a woman who continuously reincarnated into a human being for over 600 years.

The drama series is also now set to first air December 18, 2021 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Jirisan“).

First script reading for Disney+ drama “Moving”

First script reading for Disney+ drama series “Moving,” starring Ryoo Seung-Ryong, Han Hyo-Joo, and Zo In-Sung, took place August, 2021 in South Korea. The drama series is part of the initial batch of original Korean drama series programming that will premiere on the Disney+ platform, following its premiere in South Korea on November 12. During the script reading Ryoo Seung-Ryong stated “I am excited, happy and honored to participate in such a compelling work. I look forward even more to working on this because of the great staff and colleagues.” Han Hyo-Joo stated “I met many good people through ‘Moving.’ It’s an honor to share writer Kang Pool’s wonderful worldview. Perhaps, this will be a drama series which has never been seen before in Korea.” Lastly, Zo In-Sung stated “I enjoyed reading the original webcomic.” 

“Moving” will be available to stream on Disney+ sometime during the second half of 2022.

Teaser trailer & poster for iHQ drama “Sponsor”

First teaser trailer & poster added for iHQ drama series “Sponsor” starring Lee Ji-Hoon, Han Chae-Young, Ji E-Suu, & Koo Ja-Sung. The drama series previously went under the Korean title of “Yokmang” or literally “Desire,” before picking up the title of “Sponsor.” Teaser 1 begins with the voice of Lee Ji-Hoon as he states “My father was a perfect person, but he made one mistake. That was he trusted you.”

“Sponsor” first airs November 29, 2021 on Korean cable channel iHQ.
