Apple TV+ drama “Pachinko” to premiere March 25th

Apple TV+ drama series “Pachinko,” starring Youn Yuh-Jung, Soji Arai, Lee Min-Ho, & Jung Eun-Chae, to premiere March 25, 2021 worldwide. In addition, above and below are the first five still images from the drama series. The screenplay is based on 2017 novel “Pachinko” by Lee Min-Jin. The drama series will be told in Korean, Japanese, and English languages, while spanning filming locations from South Korea, Japan, and the United States.

“Pachinko” will consist of 8 total episodes, with the first 3 episodes released on March 25, 2022 and 1 episode released per week afterwards on Friday.

Third teaser trailer & teaser poster for JTBC drama “Thirty Nine”

Third teaser trailer and teaser poster added for JTBC drama series “Thirty Nine” starring Son Ye-Jin, Jeon Mi-Do, & Kim Ji-Hyun. The teaser trailer begins with Son Ye-Jin stating “We, who are about to turn 40, haven’t changed much.” Above is a teaser poster for the drama series that has captions that states “Our lovable days, where we laughed a lot and cried a lot.”

“Thirty Nine” will first air February 16, 2022 in South Korea and also stream on Netflix worldwide about an hour after the drama series airs in Korea.

Script reading for OCN drama “Superior Day”

The first script reading for OCN drama series “Superior Day” (literal title), starring Jin Goo, Ha Do-Kwon, & Lee Won-Geun, took place back on November, 2021. Above and below are photos of the three leads at the first script reading. Filming for the drama series also began November, 2021.

Ep.1 of “Superior Day” is also now scheduled to first air March, 2022. The drama series is based on webcomic “Uwolhan Halu” by Team Getname and revolves around Lee Ho-Cheol (Jin Goo), who lives next door to serial killer Kwon Shi-Woo (Lee Won-Geun). Lee Ho-Cheol is given 24 hours to kill the serial killer to save his kidnapped daughter.

Teaser trailer for Netflix drama series “Juvenile Justice”

English subtitled teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “Juvenile Justice” starring Kim Hye-Soo & Kim Moo-Yul. 10 character posters for the drama series has also been release. The first four are of Kim Hye-Soo, Kim Moo-Yul, Lee Sung-Min, and Lee Jung-Eun, who all play judges. Captions on their poster states “I hate juvenile offenders.” The last 6 character posters are juvenile offender characters. The identities of the actors that play them has not yet been revealed. Captions on their posters states “I am a juvenile offender.”

“Juvenile Justice” is now scheduled to premiere February 25, 2022 on Netflix.

Kim Rae-Won, Son Ho-Jun, & Gong Seung-Yeon cast in SBS drama “The Police Station Next to the Fire Station”

Kim Rae-WonSon Ho-Jun, and Gong Seung-Yeon are cast in SBS drama series “The Police Station Next to the Fire Station” (literal title). The drama series will have Kim Rae-Won play Detective Jin Ho-Gae. Son Ho-Jun will play Firefighter Bong Do-Jin and Gong Seung-Yeon will play Paramedic Song Seol. They work together to solve cases.

Filming for “The Police Station Next to the Fire Station” has already begun and the drama series will air sometime during the first half of this year.

Teaser trailer & poster for Disney+ drama “Grid”

First teaser trailer and teaser poster added for Disney+ drama series “Grid” starring Seo Kang-Joon & Kim A-Joong. Captions on the teaser posters states “24 years ago, a ghost disappeared like the air. The ghost appeared again” and “Premeditated murder. Different future. Must find.” The drama series follows the premise of a mysterious ghost (Lee Si-Young) who created a grid that blocked the solar wind and saved humankind. The ghost appears again 24 years later and helps a serial killer (Kim Sung-Kyun) escape. Kim Sae-Ha (Seo Kang-Joon), Jung Sae-Byeok (Kim A-Joong ) and Song Eo-Jin (Kim Moo-Yul) chase the ghost for their own reasons. 

“Grid” will stream from February 16, 2022 on Disney+ Korea.

Ji Sung, Seo Ji-Hye, & Lee Soo-Kyung cast in tvN drama “Adamas”

Ji Sung, Seo Ji-Hye, and Lee Soo-Kyung are cast in tvN drama series “Adamas” (working title). Ji Sung will play twin brothers in the drama series. The original mystery-themed screenplay will have the twin brothers learning that their birth father was framed for murdering their step-father. Seo Ji-Hye will play Eun Hye-Soo. She married into a conglomerate family and helps one of the brothers. Lee Soo-Kyung will play Reporter Kim Seo-Hee.

“Adamas” will air sometime in the second half of this year.
