Teaser poster & release date set for Netflix drama series “Glitch”

First teaser poster and October 7, 2022 release date set for Netflix drama series “Glitch” starring Jeon Yeo-Bin & Nana. The sci-fi’ish drama series follows a woman who attempts to track down her missing husband with the help of a UFO club. Caption on the teaser poster states “My boyfriend disappeared from the earth.” The drama series is directed by Roh Deok (“Very Ordinary Couple“) and scripted by Jin Han-Sae (“Extracurricular“).

Teaser trailer for TVING drama “Beyond The Memory”

First teaser trailer added for TVING drama series “Beyond The Memory” starring Shin Ha-Kyun & Han Ji-Min. The sci-fi’ish drama series “Beyond The Memory” is set in the year 2032. A man played by Shin Ha-Kyun receives messages from his late wife played by Han Ji-Min. She wants to meet him in a place called Yonder. The first teaser trailer begins with Shin Ha-Kyun’s voice asking “Yonder. What is Yonder?” Around the 24 second mark, Han Ji-Min states “I’m here. If you want to meet me, come here.” At the 51 second mark, Han Ji-Min states asks “You’re here?” Captions in the teaser states (0:33) “Loved One,” (0:36) “Can Meet,” (0:39) “The Last Space.”

“Beyond The Memory” is now scheduled to stream from October, 2022 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer added for Wavve drama series “Seasons of Blossom” starring Seo Ji-Hoon, So Ju-Yeon, Kim Min-Kyu, Kang Hye-Won, & Yoon Hyun-Soo. The drama series is based on webcomic “Chungchun Blossom” by Hong Deok and follows five high school students at the same school. Teaser trailer #3 added for MBC drama series “The Golden Spoon” starring Yook Sung-Jae, Lee Jong-Won, Jung Chae-Yeon, and Yeon Woo. The teaser trailer shows the love triangle between Lee Seung-Cheon (Yook Sung-Jae), Na Joo-Hee (Jung Chae-Yeon), and Hwang Tae-Yong (Lee Jong-Won).  Around the 22 second mark, Yook Sung-Jae states about himself “He is not the Lee Seung-Cheon you like. He’s not the Lee Seung-Cheon you know” and this is followed with Jung Chae-Yeon stating “Let’s say he’s changed, but what does it have to do with you? Seung-Cheon is just Seung-Cheon.” Below are four character posters for the drama series.

Ep.1 trailer for tvN drama “Little Women”

Ep.1 trailer added for tvN drama series “Little Women” starring Kim Go-Eun, Nam Ji-Hyun, & Park Ji-Hu. The drama series features an original screenplay Jung Seo-Kyoung, who wrote screenplays for Park Chan-Wook movies “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance,” “I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK,” “Thirst,” “The Handmaiden,” and “Decision to Leave.” Jung Seo-Kyoung also stated that the English title of the drama series “Little Women” was chosen as a sign of appreciation for the American classic novel “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott and to show solidarity for the plight of poor young girls all over the world from the past and present. Below are still images of the three female leads who play sisters in th drama series.

“Little Women” first airs September 3, 2022 in South Korea and will also be available to stream on Netflix shortly after it airs in Korea.

Song Kang-Ho cast in drama series “Uncle Sam-Sik”

Song Kang-Ho is cast in new drama series “Uncle Sam-Sik.” This will be Song Kang-Ho’s first drama series acting role in his 32 year acting career. The drama series will be directed and scripted by Shin Youn-Shick. Song Kang-Ho and Shin Youn-Shick already worked together in upcoming movies “Cobweb” and “One Win.” Story for “Uncle Sam-Sik” will be set in the early 1960’s.

“Uncle Sam-Sik” will consist of 10 episodes, but broadcast platform and air date for the drama series has not yet been decided.

Jang Keun-Suk, Heo Sung-Tae, & Lee Elijah cast in Coupang Play drama “Chronicles of Crime”

Jang Keun-Suk, Heo Sung-Tae, & Lee Elijah are cast in Coupang Play drama series “Chronicles of Crime” (literal title). The drama series is setup as a crime-thriller, with Jang Keun-Suk playing Detective Ku Do-Han. He attempts solve a cold case from the past using crimes from the present day. The drama series will be directed Kim Hong-Sun (“Voice“). The first script reading for the drama series has already taken place and filming will start soon.

“Chronicles of Crime” will be available to stream from Coupang Play sometime next year.

Kim Hye-Soo, Kim Hae-Sook, & Choi Won-Young cast in tvN drama “Shuroop”

Kim Hye-Soo, Kim Hae-Sook, & Choi Won-Young are cast in tvN drama series “Shuroop.” Also cast for the drama series are Kim Eui-Sung, Moon Sang-Min, Kang Chan-Hee, Ok Ja-Yeon, Kim Ga-Eun, Yoo Seon-Ho, Yoon Sang-Hyeon, and Kim Min-Ki. The drama series is set during historical times and will have Kim Hye-Soo play Queen Hwaryeong. She must deal with her troublemaker sons and guide them in the right direction using education. The title of the drama series “Shuroop” is an old Korean word for “Woosan” (literally “Umbrella”). The first script reading and filming began around April, 2022 in South Korea.
