Main cast for SBS drama series “The Escape of the Seven”

Uhm Ki-JoonHwang Jung-EumLee Joon are cast in SBS drama series “The Escape of the Seven” (literal title). Also cast for co-leading roles are Lee Yoo-BiShin Eun-KyungYoon Jong-HoonJo Yoon-HeeJo Jae-Yun and Lee Deok-Hwa.  The drama series revolves around a girl’s disappearance and the 7 people that brought into the case. The drama series is directed by Joo Dong-Min and scripted by Kim Sun-Ok, who previously worked with actor Uhm Ki-Joon in hit SBS drama series “Penthouse.”

“The Escape of the Seven” will first air sometime next year in South Korea. Filming for the drama series has already begun.

Main trailer for Waave drama “Seasons of Blossom”

Main trailer added for Waave drama series “Seasons of Blossom” starring Seo Ji-Hoon, So Ju-Yeon, and Kim Min-Kyu. The drama series is based on webcomic “Chungchun Blossom” written by Hong Deok. The trailer has Kim Min-Kyu stating at the 14 second mark “I met someone you knew. She might know about your death.” In the drama series, which takes place in the present day and goes back to the year 2016, So Ju-Yeon plays a trainee teacher who returns to the high school where she attended. There, as a student, she was close to someone that died and now meets his younger brother as a teacher.

Kim Tae-Ri, Oh Jung-Se, & Hong Kyung cast in SBS drama “Demon”

Kim Tae-Ri, Oh Jung-Se, & Hong Kyung are cast in SBS drama series “Demon” (working & literal title). The occult mystery-thriller themed drama series is scripted by Kim Eun-Hee (“Kingdom“) and directed by Lee Jung-Lim (“VIP“). In “Demon,” Kim Tae-Ri will play Ku San-Young. She is possessed by a demon. Oh Jung-Se will play Professor Yeom Hae-Sang. He is able to demons and becomes involved with Ku San-Young in a series of mysterious cases. Hong Kyung will play Lee Hong-Sae. He works in the police department.

“Demon” first airs next year in South Korea.

Main trailer and poster added for Disney+ drama series “May It Please The Court” starring Jung Ryeo-Won, Lee Kyu-Hyung, & Jung Jin-Young. Han Suk-Kyu, Ahn Hyo-Seop, and Lee Sung-Kyung cast in SBS drama “Dr. Romantic 3”

Han Suk-Kyu, Ahn Hyo-Seop, and Lee Sung-Kyung are cast in SBS drama series “Dr. Romantic 3.” Han Suk-Kyu, who appeared in both 2016 SBS drama series “Dr. Romantic” and 2020 SBS drama series “Dr. Romantic 2,” will reprise his lead character role of Teacher Kim. Ahn Hyo-Seop and Lee Sung-Kyung, who appeared in “Dr. Romantic 2,” will reprise their roles of Seo Woo-Jin and Cha Eun-Jae. Director Yu In-Sik and screenwriter Kang Eun-Kyung will also return for the third season after working together in the first two seasons.

“Dr. Romantic 3” is planned to air sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.

Miki Nakatani cast in WOWOW drama “Giver Taker”

Miki Nakatani is cast in WOWOW live-action drama series “Giver Taker.” The drama series is based on manga “Life2 Giver Taker” by Keiko Suenobu. For “Giver Taker,” Miki Naktani will play ex-elementary school teacher turned detective Itsuki Kurasawa. She underwent the drastic career change after her daughter was murdered by one of her students. 12 years later, that student is now set to be released.

“Giver Taker” will air sometime next year in Japan.

First teaser trailer for Disney+ drama series “Casino” starring Choi Min-Sik, Son Suk-Ku, & Lee Dong-Hwi. The drama series, featuring Choi Min-Sik’s first ever appearance in a drama series, is scripted and directed by Kang Yoon-Sung (“The Outlaws“) Narration in the teaser trailer has Choi Min-Sik stating around the 37 second mark “We made 70 billion won in 10 years and got close to all the political figures in the Philippines.
