Kim Hyun-Joo, Park Hee-Soon cast in Netflix drama “Family Gravesite”

Kim Hyun-Joo, Park Hee-Soon, Park Byung-Eun, & Ryoo Kyung-Soo are cast in Netflix drama series “Family Gravesite” (literal title). The drama series is scripted by Yeon Sang-Ho (“Train To Busan“) and directed by Min Hong-Nam (assistant director in “Train To Busan“). As the title suggests, the drama series revolves around a family gravesite that seems to cause disturbing events for Yoon Seo-Ha (Kim Hyun-Joo) and the village where it is situated. Park Hee-Soon will play Detective Choi Sung-Joon, who investigates. Park Byung-Eun will play Park Sang-Min. He is the chief of the detective squad where Choi Sung-Joon works. Ryoo Kyung-Soo will play Kim Young-Ho. He is the younger stepbrother of Yoon Seo-Ha.

Release date for the drama series has not yet been announced.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: After her uncle’s death, Yoon Seo-Ha (Kim Hyun-Joo) inherits their family gravesite from her late uncle. Since then, Yoon Seo-Ha gets involved with some inauspicious incidents. She has a younger step-brother, Kim Young-Ho (Ryoo Kyung-Soo), who throws her into even more confusion.

Meanwhile, Detective Choi Sung-Joon (Park Hee-Soon) suspects the recent incidents that have taken place in the village are related to Yoon Seo-Ha’s family gravesite. He investigates further. At the police station, Choi Sung-Joon has an antagonistic relationship with Park Sang-Min (Park Byung-Eun). He is the chief of the detective squad where Choi Sung-Joon works. Due to a case that took place in the past, his boss holds a sense of inferiority and jealousy towards Choi Sung-Joon.
