Nanase Nishino (‘Nogizaka46’ ) is cast in upcoming live-action film “Asahinagu.” The film is based on manga series “Asahinagu” by Ai Kozaki and directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa. In live-action film “Asahinagu,” Nanase Nishino will play main character Asahi Tojima. Her character is physically weak and short in stature. She decides to change herself by joining her high school’s naginata club. Naginata is a type of traditional Japanese blade. The blade is fixed on top of a long wooden or metal pole.
“Asahinagu” will be released autumn, 2017 in Japan.
Spooky teaser trailer added for upcoming horror film “Little Nightmares” starring Mugi Kadowaki, Hideaki Takizawa & Arioka Daiki. Movie is directed by Takashi Shimizu. Story for “Little Nightmares” is set around a town that has experienced child disappearances and suspicious adult deaths. An internet rumor spreads that any adult that encounters a “returned” child will die in 3 days.

Supporting cast has been announced for upcoming movie “The Miracles of the Namiya General Store” starring Ryosuke Yamada & Toshiyuki Nishida. Now cast in the film in supporting roles are Machiko Ono, Nijiro Murakami, Kento Hayashi, Riko Narumi, Mugi Kadowaki, & Masato Hagiwara. Movie is based on novel “Namiya Zakkaten no Kiseki” by Keigo Higashino & directed by Ryuichi Hiroki. Story for the film revolves around the Namya General Store where some kids find a letter from the year 1980 and decide to reply to the letter.

Supporting cast has been announced for upcoming Hirokazu Koreeda directed film “The Third Murder” starring Masaharu Fukuyama & Koji Yakusho. Now cast in supporting roles are Suzu Hirose, Yuki Saito, Kotaro Yoshida, Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Izumi Matsuoka, Mikako Ichikawa & Isao Hashizume.
Basic premise for the film follows an elite lawyer (Masaharu Fukuyama) as he takes on a case of a man (Koji Yakusho) accused of murder. The man was previously convicted of murder some 30 years ago. Even though the man confesses to the murder charge, the lawyer begins to have doubt.

Here’s the first still images of Takeru Satoh and Tao Tsuchiya in upcoming movie “The 8-Year Engagement.” Filming for the movie finished February 14, 2017 and took about 6 weeks to finish. Filming took place mainly around Okayama and also took place in Hiroshima and Kagawa. Movie is based on the autobiographical novel “8 Nen Goshi no Hanayome Kimi no Me ga Sametanara” by Hisashi Nakahara and Mai Nakahara, and directed by Takahisa Zeze. Premise for the film revolves around a woman who wakes up from a coma and cannot remember her fiance.

Now cast for the movie are Masachika Ichimura, Yusuke Santamaria, Anna Ishibashi, Daisuke Miyagawa, Mitsuki Takahata, Jin Katagiri and Rie Minemura. Movie is written and directed by Masafumi Nishida. Premise for the film follows ex-thief Hajime Onuki (Ryuhei Maruyama) and now regular civilian. After being blackmailed into breaking into a mansion, he is caught but constantly mistaken for someone else there.

In live-action film “Gintama,” Ken Yasuda plays Tetsuya Murata and Akari Hayami plays Tetsuko Murata. Their characters are brother and sister. They own a blacksmith workshop and produce the dangerous sword “Benizakura.” They hold a key to the story.

Now cast in the film are Gou Ayano, Yuu Shirota, Yudai Chiba, Yuki Yamada, Tetsuji Tamayama, Rina Kawaei & Minami Hamabe. Movie is based on manga series “Ajin” by Gamon Sakurai and directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro.
In the upcoming movie Gou Ayano will play Sato who is an Ajin (“Demi-Human”). He holds incredible strength and an enemy of Kei Nagai (Takeru Satoh).
Yuu Shirota will play Koji Tanaka who is also an Ajin. He takes part in acts with Sato.
Yudai Chiba will play Masumi Okuyama. He is also an Ajin. He supports Sato’s group with the use of drones and hacking. Yuki Yamada will play Takahashi. He is an Ajin.
