Mario Kuroba and Rika Adachi are cast in live-action film “The Diary About Ayame’s Easygoing and Aggressive Days.” The live-action film is based on manga series “Ayame-kun no Nonbiri Nikushoku Nisshi” by Mai Machi and directed by Hiroki Shibasaki. The film is setup as a romance between a young man who grew up England, but now back in Japan and a woman who is a dinosaur otaku.
“The Diary About Ayame’s Easygoing and Aggressive Days” will be released October 7, 2017 in Japan.
Yo Yoshida cast in movie “Love × Doc”
Yo Yoshida is cast for the lead role in upcoming movie “Love × Doc.” Also cast in the film are Shuhei Nomura, Atsushi Shinohara, Kotaro Yoshida and Hiroshi Tamaki. The movie also marks the directorial debut for screenwriter Osamu Suzuki. In movie “Love × Doc,” Yo Yoshida plays pastry chef Asuka Goda. A younger pastry chef played by Shuhei Nomura confesses his feelings for her. This brings back bad memories when she was involved with two men about 5 years earlier. She decides to go to “Clinic Love Doc” for help.
“Love × Doc” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Aoi Morikawa, Takumi Kitamura and Kanta Sato are cast in live-action film “Love and Lies.” Movie is based on manga “Koi to Uso” by Musawo and directed by Takeshi Furusawa. Setup for the film has the Japanese implementing a program to increase the birth rate in the country. They take information from genes and select people to marry. Aoi Nisaka (Aoi Morikawa) is selected to marry Sosuke Takachiho (Kanta Sato), but she also has feelings for her longtime friend Yuto Shiba (Takumi Kitamura).

Masami Nagasawa and Issei Takahashi are cast in new movie “Uso wo Aisuru Onna.” Kotaro Yoshida is also cast in a supporting role. Movie is directed by first timer Kazuhito Nakae. Premise for “Uso wo Aisuru Onna” follows Yukari Kawahara played by Masami Nagasawa. She lives with her boyfriend Kippei Koide played by Issei Takahashi. Her boyfriend is a doctor, but he suffers a brain hemorrhage. Yukari Kawahara then learns everything she knew about her boyfriend was a lie.
