Kento Nakajima cast in Netflix drama “S and X”

Kento Nakajima is cast in Netflix drama series “S and X.” The drama series is based on webcomic “S to X: Shimotori Ichito Therapist no Kokuhaku” by Kisei Tada and directed by Shogo Kusano (“The Longest Photo in The World“). In the new Netflix drama series, Kento Nakajima will play Sex Therapist Ichito Shimotori. He works with patients with various sexual problems and also deals with his own personal problem.

“S and X” will be available to stream sometime this year.

Hana Sugisaki cast in NTV drama “Fuyu no Nankasa, Haru no Nankasa”

Hana Sugisaki is cast in NTV drama series “Fuyu no Nankasa, Haru no Nankasa.” The drama series is scripted and co-directed by Rikiya Imaizumi. He previously worked with Hana Sugisaki in 2023 WOWOW drama series “Hana Sugisaki’s Filming Break.” The drama series is setup to tell an everyday love story about a young woman who lives earnestly despite making mistakes.

Ryusei Fujii and Ryuya Shimekake are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Zenbu, Anata no Tame Dakara.” The romance-suspense drama series is based on 2025 novel “Zenbu, Anata no Tame Dakara” by Eiji Natsubara and screenplay adaptation written by Hisako Fujihira (“Watashitachi ga Koisuru Riyu“). Ryusei Fujii will play lead male character Kazutomi Hayashida. During his wedding with his bride Sayaka, her champagne is intetionally poisoned. Wedding photographer Sakuraba finds clues from the photos he took during the wedding and helps Kazutomi Hayashida find out who was responsible.

Ryuhei Matsuda is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo.” Director Shuichi Okita, who previously worked with Ryuhei Matsuda in movie “The Mohican Comes Home” and drama series “0.5 no Otoko,” co-writes the screenplay and co-directs the drama series. “Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo” is setup as a human mystery drama series revolving around Yosuke Ichinose (Ryuhei Matsuda). Ryoma Takeuchi and Mao Inoue are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Saikai: Silent Truth.” The mystery drama series is based on 2010 novel “Saikai” by Dai Yokozeki (“Daughter of Lupin“) and scripted by Atsuko Hashibe (“Yuria’s Red String of Fate“). In “Saikai: Silent Truth,” Ryoma Takeuchi will play Detective Junichi Tobina. He meets his first love Makiko Iwamoto played by Mao Inoue, who is a suspect in a murder case.

Kim Ji-Won cast in SBS drama “Doctor X”

Kim Ji-Won is cast for the lead role in SBS drama series “Doctor X.” As the title suggests, “Doctor X” is a remake of the TV Asahi drama series that first aired in 2012 with “Doctor-X” and stars Ryoko Yonekura. Also cast for the SBS drama series version are Lee Jung-Eun, Son Hyun-Joo, & Kim Woo-Seok. In “Doctor X,” Kim Ji-Won will play Kye Soo-Jeong. She is a freelance surgeon and highly skilled. She is also quite unorthodox and not afraid to clash with the status quo.

“Doctor X” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.

Moka Kamishiraishi, playing her first main character in a terrestrial broadcast drama series, will portray Ichiha Shibata. Sota Fukushi and Naoto Ogata are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Tokyo P.D.” The drama series features an original screenplay that is set in the public relations department at the Metropolitan Police Department. Sota Fukushi will play Rintaro Imaizumi. He is a detective that gets transferred to the public relations department. Due to a past incident, he doesn’t like reporters. Naoto Ogata will play Naoshi Ando. He is the chief of the public relations department and supports Rintaro Imaizumi from behind the scenes.
