Teaser trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Straight to Hell” starring Erika Toda. Drama series is based on the true story of Kazuko Hosoki. She dropped out of high school and became successful as a hostess in Ginza. She then made her mark by becoming a fortune teller. Erika Toda will play Kazuko Hosoki from the age of 17 to 66.
“Straight to Hell” is now set to premiere April 27, 2026.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kazuko Hosoki (Erika Toda) drops out of high school to escape starvation and poverty in postwar Japan. She begins to work at a hostess club. By her 20’s, she has opened successful nightclubs and is called the Queen of Ginza. She then becomes a famous and popular fortune teller by using her skills controlling people’s emotions, which she polished by working in entertainment clubs. But, dark rumors follow her.
