Teaser trailer for JTBC drama series “Mystic Pop-up Bar”

First teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “Mystic Pop-up Bar” (English title) starring Hwang Jung-Eum & Yook Sung-Jae. The literal title of the drama series is “Ssanggab Cart Bar.” Around the 2 second mark, Hwang Jung-Eum’s voice appears and she says “Bloodshot eyes, shallow face, look at that dark circle.” Around the 12 second mark, Hwang Jung-Eum states “Today it’s you.”

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Ssanggab Cart Bar opens only at night on the rooftop of a building. Wol-Joo (Hwang Jung-Eum) runs the mysterious food cart. Customers who visit Ssanggab Cart Bar consist of normal people and the dead. While drinking alcohol and eating dishes with Wol-Joo, the customers of Ssanggab Cart Bar talk about themselves and try to heal their internal wounds.

First script reading for JTBC drama series “Ssanggab Cart Bar”

Here’s photos from the first script reading for JTBC drama series “Ssanggab Cart Bar” (literal title) starring Hwang Jung-Eum & Yook Sung-Jae. The first script reading took place August, 2019 at JTBC Building in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. First script reading included main cast members Hwang Jung-Eum, Yook Sung-Jae, Choi Won-Young, Lee Joon-Hyuk, and Jung Da-Eun.

Filming for the drama series finished late February, 2020 and currently post production work is going on. Story for the drama series revolves around mysterious “Ssanggab Cart Bar,” where Wol-Joo (Hwang Jung-Eum) talks to her customers, while providing food, and heals their internal wounds. Yook Sung-Jae plays Han Kang-Bae. He is a part-time worker at Ssanggab Cart Bar.

Hwang Jung-Eum, Yook Sung-Jae, Choi Won-Young and Lee Joon-Hyuk cast in JTBC drama series “Ssanggab Cart Bar”

Hwang Jung-Eum, Yook Sung-Jae (‘BTOB’), Choi Won-Young and Lee Joon-Hyuk are all cast in JTBC drama series “Ssanggab Cart Bar.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Ssanggabpocha” by Bae Hye-Soo and directed by Jeon Chang-Geun (“The Package“). The drama series will have Hwang Jung-Eum playing main character Wol-Joo. She runs a mysterious food cart that opens only at night and on the rooftop of a building. Customers include both the living and the dead. Filming begins September, 2019.

“Ssanggab Cart Bar” will first air sometime during the first half of 2020 in South Korea.

Ep.14 of tvN drama series “Goblin” to air a week later …

Screenwriter Kim Eun-Sook has just finished the script for the final episode (ep.16) of tvN drama series “Goblin.” To have enough time to finish everything smoothly, ep.14 will now air a week later on Friday, January 20, 2017. Ep. 15 and the final episode (ep.16) will now air consecutively on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

Since ep.14 will not air on Saturday, January 14, 2017, tvN will air a special edition of “Goblin” in its place. The special edition contains story of the characters and foreshadowing of ep. 14-16.

Here’s still images of Kim Go-Eun and Yook Sung-Jae‘s (‘BTOB’) first scene together in currently airing tvN drama series “Goblin.”

The scene has Ji Eun-Tak ( Kim Go-Eun) and Yoo Duk-Hwa (Yook Sung-Jae) meeting for the first time in a bookstore. Filming for this scene took place in Bucheon, South Korea on September 19, 2016. This scene will air in ep.3 of “Goblin” on December 9, 2016 in South Korea.

First script reading for tvN drama series “Goblin”

First script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “Goblin,” starring Gong YooKim Go-Eun, took place August 30, 2016 at Nuri Dream Square in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Gong Yoo, Kim Go-Eun, Lee Dong-Wook, Yoo In-Na & Yook Sung-Jae (‘BTOB’) attended the script reading. The first script reading took about 4 hours to complete.

In the drama series, Gong Yoo plays Kim Shin. His character is a mysterious, sad and beautiful Goblin. Kim Go-Eun plays Ji Eun-Tak. Her character is in the third year of high school. She has a bright personality even while going through harsh situations. Lee Dong-Wook plays Wang Yeo. His character is a sexy angel of death. Yoo In-Na plays Kim Sun aka Sunny. She runs a chicken restaurant. Yook Sung-Jae plays Yoo Duk-Hwa. His wealthy family has been a vassal to Goblin for 13 generations.

“Goblin” is scheduled to first air sometime this December in South Korea.

Yoo In-Na and Yook Sung-Jae cast in tvN drama series “Goblin”

Yoo In-Na and Yook Sung-Jae (‘BTOB’) are now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Goblin” starring Gong Yoo & Kim Go-Eun.

In the upcoming drama series, Yoo In-Na will play Kim Sun. Her character is also known as Sunny. She is an attractive woman. After she squandered away money, she went through various hardships in life. She changes after she meets Wang Yeo (Lee Dong-Wook).

Yook Sung-Jae from idol group ‘BTOB’ will play Yoo Duk-Hwa. He is the eldest son of a family who runs a large company. Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) is his uncle. His character is defiant, but he lives a different life through Kim Shin.

First script reading for “Goblin” is scheduled to take place on August 30, 2016.

Kim You-Jung cast in KBS2 drama series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds”

Kim You-Jung is cast for lead female role in upcoming KBS2 period drama series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” also starring Park Bo-Gum and Yook Sung-Jae (‘BTOB’).

In drama series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,” Kim You-Jung will play Hong Ra-On. To make money, she disguises herself as a man and later enters the palace as a eunuch. Hong Ra-On and Crown Prince Lee Young (Park Bo-Gum) develop a friendship and romantic relationship. A love triangle occurs with Kim Yoon-Sung (Yook Sung-Jae).
