Cha Seung-Won cast in tvN drama series “Hwayuki”

Actor Cha Seung-Won is now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Hwayuki.” He will reunite with screenwriters Hong Jung-Eun and Hong Mi-Ran whom he previously worked with in 2011 MBC drama series “The Greatest Love.” For the drama series, Cha Seung-Won will play King Wooma (Bull Demon King). He is the CEO of a top entertainment company and more famous than the entertainers signed to his company. Currently, Lee Seung-Gi and Oh Yeon-Seo are still considering offers to play leading characters in the drama series.

“Hwayuki” will first air this December in South Korea.

Main poster for SBS drama series “My Sassy Girl”

Main poster for upcoming SBS drama series “My Sassy Girl” starring Joo Won & Oh Yeon-Seo. The poster features main cast members Joo Won, Oh Yeon-Seo, Lee Jung-Shin (‘CNBLUE’) and Kim Yoon-Hye. These four characters are interconnected within the story line. Gyun-Woo (Joo Won) becomes a prince’s teacher and he gets involved with Princess Hyemyung (Oh Yeon-Seo). Kang Joon-Young (Lee Jung-Shin) stands by Princess Hyemyung. He loves her, but he does not express his feeling to her. Meanwhile, Jung Da-Yeon (Kim Yoon-Hye) holds feelings for Gyun-Woo.

Teaser trailer #2 added for upcoming SBS drama series “My Sassy Girl” starring Joo Won & Oh Yeon-Seo. The drama series will be Joo Won’s last acting performance before he joins the South Korean military on May 16, 2017 and will serve for approximately 21 months.

Drama series “My Sassy Girl” is a remake of popular 2001 romantic-comedy film “My Sassy Girl,” but set in historical times. For lead actor Joo Won, “My Sassy Girl” will be his last acting performance before serving his mandatory military enlistment. Joo Won will begin his enlistment May 16, 2017 and he is scheduled to be released February 15, 2019.

Yu In-Young offered role of Baek In-Ha in movie “Cheese in the Trap”

Yu In-Young has been offered the role of Baek In-Ha in upcoming movie “Cheese in the Trap” starring Park Hae-Jin, Oh Yeon-Seo & Park Ki-Woong. Movie is based on webcomic “Cheese in the Trap” by Soon Ggi. In the 2016 tvN drama series version of “Cheese in the Trap,” Lee Sung-Kyung played Baek In-Ha. Yu In-Young is reported to be in the final stages of accepting the offer.

In the movie, Baek in-Ha is the older sister of Baek In-Ho (Park Ki-Woong). She is audacious and beautiful. She uses her beautiful appearance when she needs something.

Park Ki-Woong cast in movie “Cheese in the Trap”

Park Ki-Woong is cast in movie “Cheese in the Trap” starring Park Hae-Jin & Oh Yeon-Seo. For the movie, Park Ki-Woong will play major supporting character Baek In-Ho. In the tvN drama series version of “Cheese in the Trap,” actor Seo Kang-Joon played the same character. The character of Baek In-Ho used to be close with Yoo Jung (Park Hae-Jin) and he was also a promising pianist, but an injury caused him to give up the piano. He wandered from place to place and thought Yoo Jung caused his injury.

“Cheese in the Trap” will be released sometime this year in South Korea.
