Launching teaser trailer and poster added for Genie TV drama series “Paper Moon” starring Kim Seo-Hyung. The drama series is based on 2012 Japanese novel “Kami no Tsuki” by Mitsuyo Kakuta, which was previously adapted into 2014 NHK drama series “Paper Moon” starring Tomoyo Harada and 2014 movie “Pale Moon” starring Rie Miyazawa. In the launching teaser trailer, Kim Seo-Hyung states “For fake happiness, can I betray my real life?”

Trailer and poster for Watcha drama “Recipe for Farewell”

Launching trailer and poster added for Watcha drama series “Recipe for Farewell” starring Han Suk-Kyu & Kim Seo-Hyung. The drama series follows a husband, who only knows how to make ramen, begin to cook meals for his wife who has stomach cancer. The drama series will also screen 4 of its 12 episodes at the upcoming Busan International Film Festival (October 5-14, 2022). The launching trailer begins with Han Suk-Kyu as the husband Chang-Wook stating “Delicious food is made from the heart.”

“Recipe for Farewell” will be available to stream this December in South Korea.

Kim Seo-Hyung cast in Seezn drama “Paper Moon”

Kim Seo-Hyung is cast for the lead role in Seezn drama series “Paper Moon” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2012 novel “Kami no Tsuki” by Mitsuyo Kakuta. The novel was previously adapted into 2014 NHK drama series “Paper Moon” starring Tomoyo Harada and 2014 movie “Pale Moon” starring Rie Miyazawa. In “Paper Moon,” Kim Seo-Hyung will play Yoo Yi-Hwa. She is a housewife, but begins to work at a bank to break her boredom. She begins to embezzle money from the bank.

Filming for “Paper Moon” will begin sometime this year, but release date has not yet been decided.

Han Suk-Kyu & Kim Seo-Hyung cast Watcha drama “It May Be A Little Spicy Today”

Han Suk-Kyu and Kim Seo-Hyung are cast Watcha drama series “It May Be A Little Spicy Today” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2018 non-fiction novel “Oneuleun Jom Maewoolji Molla” by Kang Chang-Rae. The drama series will have Han Suk-Kyu playing married husband  Chang-Rae. He begins to cook for his wife played by Kim Seo-Hyung, who has serious health problems.

“It May Be A Little Spicy Today” will be available to stream sometime this year in South Korea.

Lee Bo-Young and Kim Seo-Hyung are cast in tvN drama series “Mine.” They will play two women who are married to the same chaebol (family owned conglomeration) family. The theme of the drama series is for the women to find their true selves. Lee Bo-Young will play former actress now housewife Seo Hee-Soo. Kim Seo-Hyun will play Jung Seo-Hyun. She herself came from a chaebol family.

“Mine” will first air sometime in the first half of this year in South Korea.
