ep.15 trailer for SBS drama series “The Royal Gambler”

Ep.15 trailer added for currently airing SBS drama series “The Royal Gambler” starring Jang Keun-SukYeo Jin-GooLim Ji-Yeon. Meanwhile, still images above are from a scene in ep.15. The still images features Jang Keun-Suk and Kim Sung-Oh. Setup for the scene has Baek Dae-Gil (Jang Keun-Suk) and Gaejakdoo (Kim Sung-Oh) taking part in gambling. The tension is higher than the other 2 times Baek Dae-Gil gambled after coming back from Hanyang.

Ep.15 of “The Royal Gambler” airs later tonight in South Korea.

Trailer for movie “Hee”

Trailer added for movie “Hee” starring Kaori Momoi. Movie is also directed by Kaori Momoi and based on the short story of same name by Fuminori Nakamura. Story for the film has Kaori Momoi playing a Japanese woman who now lives in Los Angeles. She works as a prostitute and has lived through a horrific past. A psychiatrist she had in the past meets her again in an unexpected circumstance.

“Hee” had its world premiere in the Forum section at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year and will have its general release this August in Japan.

Lee Yo-Won cast in movie “The Youngest”

Lee Yo-Won is cast in new movie “The Youngest” (literal title). The film is directed by first time feature film director Ma Dae-Yoon. The story for the film will revolve around four siblings and Lee Yo-Won will play the second oldest among the four siblings. Her character, Oh Soo-Kyung, works as a reporter and has a hot temper. Casting for the other main characters has yet to be announced.

Kim A-Joong, Uhm Tae-Woong & Ji Hyun-Woo cast in SBS drama series “Wanted”

Actress Kim A-Joong and actors Uhm Tae-Woong & Ji Hyun-Woo are cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Wanted.” The drama series is a suspense-thriller.

For the upcoming drama series, Kim A-Joong will play Jung Hye-In. Her character is a top actress. Jung Hye-In’s son is kidnapped and to get her son back she carries out a mission given to her by the kidnapper.

Uhm Tae-Woong will play PD Shin Dong-Wook. He works at cable TV channel UCN.

Ji Hyun-Woo will play Cha Seung-In. His character is a police lieutenant at the Gangnam Police Station. Cha Seung-In is a hot-tempered detective who does his best to solve cases.

“Wanted” first airs June 22, 2016 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Wed. & Thu. 10PM time slot currently held by “Entertainer“).

Tatsuya Fujiwara cast in NTV drama series “Soshite, Dare mo Inaku Natta”

Tatsuya Fujiwara is cast in NTV drama series “Soshite, Dare mo Inaku Natta.” Also cast in the drama series are Tetsuji Tamayama and Hitomi Kuroki. The drama series will be directed by Toya Sato (worked with Tatsuya Fujiwara in movie “Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji“) and Mitsuru Kubota (“Angel Heart“).

In the drama series, Tatsuya Fujiwara plays Shinichi Todo. His character leads an almost perfect life, but everything changes when someone takes his identity.

“Soshite, Dare mo Inaku Natta” first airs this July in Japan.

SBS drama series “Entertainer” extended to 18 episodes

Currently airing SBS drama series “Entertainer,” starring Ji Sung & Hyeri, has been extended to 18 episodes from its originally scheduled 16 episodes. Ratings for the drama series has steadily increased, while the following drama series in its time slot (“Wanted“) has yet to finalize its casting. “Entertainer” will now conclude on June 16, 2016 with episode 18 and “Wanted” will now premiere on June 22, 2016.

First script reading for SBS drama series “Doctors”

First script reading for SBS drama series “Doctors” took place April 28, 2016 at at SBS Ilsan Production Studios in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. At the first script reading, main cast members Kim Rae-Won, Park Shin-Hye, Yoon Gyun-Sang, Lee Sung-Kyung, Kim Young-Ae & Ji Soo all attended.

“Doctors” first airs June 20, 2016 in South Korea (takes over SBS Monday & Tuesday 10PM time slot after the conclusion of “The Royal Gambler“).

Moon Geun-Young cast in movie “Glass Garden”

Moon Geun-Young is cast in new movie “Glass Garden” (literal title). The film will be directed by Shin Su-Won (“Pluto“/”Madonna“). In the upcoming film, Moon Geun-Young will play Jae-Yeon. Her character is doctoral student and works as a researcher in artificial blood. She has her own hidden place at a green house. Jae-Yeon then crosses paths with a writer, previously caught in a plagiarism scandal.

Filming for “Glass Garden” begins May, 2016 in South Korea.
