Actress Fumi Nikaido is cast in upcoming NTV drama series “Lost ID” (English title) co-starring Tatsuya Fujiwara.
In the drama series, Fumi Nikaido will play lead female role Sanae Kuramoto. Her character is the fiance of Shinichi Todo (Tatsuya Fujiwara). Soon, Shinichi Todo’s world comes crashing down as his identity suddenly disappears.

The still images are of Masahiro Higashide as Tsukuru Mishima and Sosuke Ikematsu as Private Investigator Ryuzaki. Each still images has one of the characters pointing a gun at the other person. Tsukuru Mishima is a member of the Death Note special task force team and Private Investigator Ryuzaki is a successor of L.
Filming for upcoming movie “Battleship Island” (literal title), starring Hwang Jung-Min, So Ji-Sub & Song Joong-Ki, began June 17, 2016 in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. The first scene film involved Lee Kang-Ok (Hwang Jung-Min), who is the bandmaster at Kyungsung Hotel, asking for job in Japan.
“Battleship Island” is scheduled for release sometime during the first half of 2017 in South Korea.

Ryoko Yonekura is set to return for season 4 of popular TV Asahi medical drama series “Doctor-X.” Also, supporting cast members set to return are Toshiyuki Nishida, Yuki Uchida, Ittoku Kishibe and Masanobu Katsumura. In season 4, Michiko Daimon (Ryoko Yonekura) goes up against Shigekatsu Hiruma (Toshiyuki Nishida) who is a director for the top university hospital in Japan.

Movie is written and directed by Ryoichi Kimizuka (screenplay writer for the “Bayside Shakedown” films). Movie is set around a morning TV show, with Kiichi Nakai playing main host Shingo Sumita and Masami Nagasawa playing co-host Keiko Ogawa. Real life drama sweeps the set as an affair, possible cancellation and a hostage situation takes place.

Song Jae-Rim & Yoo-Sun are cast in upcoming SBS weekend drama series “Our Gab-Soon.” For actor Song Jae-Rim, this is his first lead acting role for a TV drama series. In the drama series, Song Jae-Rim will play lead male character Gab-Dol. He has a mother and an older sister played by Yoo-Sun. He prepares for his exam to become a public official. Yoo-Sun’s character is a major supporting character.
“Our Gab-Soon” first airs sometime this August in South Korea (takes over SBS Sat. & Sun. 9PM time slot after (“Yeah, That’s How It Is“).
