Filming for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning,” starring Park Seo-Joon & Go Ara, finished September 1, 2016 in South Korea. The drama series took 5 month to complete. In addition, “Hwarang: The Beginning” is now scheduled to premiere December 19, 2016 (will air Mondays and Tuesdays at 10PM) in South Korea.
Trailer added for upcoming WOWOW drama series “Hippocratic Oath” starring Keiko Kitagawa. The drama series has Keiko Kitagawa playing Makoto Tsugano. She is an intern and undergoes training at forensic lab. She becomes involved in a case involving an autopsy. Drama series is based on 2015 novel “Hipokuratesu No Chikai” by Shichiri Nakayama.

Masaki Suda is cast in upcoming NTV drama series “Pretty Proofreader” (“Jimi ni Sugoi!”) starring Satomi Ishihara. The drama series is based on 2014 novel “Koetsu Garu” by Ayako Miyagi.
In the drama series, Masaki Suda will play Yukito Orihara. His character is a mysterious college student that Etsuko ([[Satomi Ishihara]]) begins to like on first sight. He hides his real identity, but he is a writer. The two character become involved through editing of a novel.

Shunsuke Daito is cast in live-action film “Laughing Under the Clouds” starring Sota Fukushi, Yuma Nakayama (‘NYC’) & Kirato Wakayama. In the upcoming live-action film, Shunsuke Daito will play Seiichiro Takamine. He is in second command of the Yamainu squad and uses the zanbato as his weapon.

First script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “Goblin,” starring Gong Yoo & Kim Go-Eun, took place August 30, 2016 at Nuri Dream Square in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Gong Yoo, Kim Go-Eun, Lee Dong-Wook, Yoo In-Na & Yook Sung-Jae (‘BTOB’) attended the script reading. The first script reading took about 4 hours to complete.
In the drama series, Gong Yoo plays Kim Shin. His character is a mysterious, sad and beautiful Goblin. Kim Go-Eun plays Ji Eun-Tak. Her character is in the third year of high school. She has a bright personality even while going through harsh situations. Lee Dong-Wook plays Wang Yeo. His character is a sexy angel of death. Yoo In-Na plays Kim Sun aka Sunny. She runs a chicken restaurant. Yook Sung-Jae plays Yoo Duk-Hwa. His wealthy family has been a vassal to Goblin for 13 generations.
“Goblin” is scheduled to first air sometime this December in South Korea.
Here’s the first still images of Choi Ji-Woo in upcoming MBC drama series “Woman with a Suitcase” co-starring Joo Jin-Mo. The scene has Cha Geum-Joo (Choi Ji-Woo) examining case files. She works as a manager at an attorney’s office. She goes through a dark period, but returns as an attorney.

Taisuke Fujigaya (‘Kis-My-Ft.2’) & Mizuki Yamamoto are cast in new Fuji TV drama series “Basuke mo Koi mo, Shiteitai.” In the drama series, Taisuke Fujigaya plays high school basketball player Tomomitsu Tsuchiya and Mizuki Yamamoto plays high school student Sae Hatori. Tomomitsu Tsuchiya notices Sae Hatori watching him during practice. They develop a friendship and begin to date. Suddenly, Sae Hatori transfers to another school without saying a word.
“Basuke mo Koi mo, Shiteitai” consists of three episodes and episode 1 will air September 19, 2016 in Japan.
Filming for upcoming live-action film “Fullmetal Alchemist” finished August 26, 2016. Filming took about 3 months to complete and during the first month filming took place in Italy. Live-action film “Fullmetal Alchemist” is based on popular manga series “Hagane no Renkinjutsushi” by Hiromu Arakawa and stars Ryosuke Yamada (“Hey! Say! JUMP”), Tsubasa Honda, Dean Fujioka & Yasuko Matsuyuki.
“Fullmetal Alchemist” will be released sometime during winter, 2017 in Japan.
