Teaser trailer for live-action film “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K”

Teaser trailer for live-action film “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K” starring Kento Yamazaki. Movie is based on manga series “Saiki Kusuo no Sainan” by Shuichi Aso and directed by Yuichi Fukuda. In addition, supporting actors for the film have been announced today and they are Kanna Hashimoto (‘Rev. from DVL’), Hirofumi Arai, Ryo Yoshizawa, Hideyuki Kasahara, Kento Kaku, Tsuyoshi Muro and Jiro Sato.

In the upcoming live-action film, Kanna Hashimoto will play Kokomi Teruhashi. She knows that she is the most beautiful girl at her school and she is an idol there. Hirofumi Arai will play Riki Nendo. He views himself as Saiki’s (Kento Yamazaki) partner. His specialty is his telepathic powers. Ryo Yoshizawa will play Shun Kaito. He is friends with Saiki. Hideyuki Kasahara will play Kineshi Hairo. He is the hot tempered class president. Kento Kaku will play Aren Kuboyasu. He looks like a nice guy, but he is actually a former leader of a motorcycle gang.  Tsuyoshi Muro will play Uroku Chono. He is a trouble maker and popular Illusionist.
Lastly, Jiro Sato will play high school principal Pinsuke Kanda.

“The Disastrous Life of Saiki K” opens October 21, 2017 in Japan.

An Woo-Yeon cast in tvN drama series “Circle”

An Woo-Yeon is cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Circle” starring Yeo Jin-Goo & Kim Kang-Woo. He joins already cast supporting actors Kong Seung-Yeon, Lee Gi-Kwang (‘Highlight’) & Kwon Hyuk-Soo. In the drama series, An Woo-Yeon will play the twin brother of Kim Woo-Jin (Yeo Jin-Goo) in the year 2017. His character has an obsession with aliens and this causes chaos and conflict. Meanwhile, An Woo-Yeon is currently playing the twin brother of Do Bong-Soon (Park Bo-Young) in JTBC drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon.”

“Circle” airs May, 2017 in South Korea.

Masaki Okada, Tori Matsuzaka, Yuya Yagira cast in NTV drama special “We’re Millennials Got a Problem?”

Masaki Okada, Tori Matsuzaka, Yuya Yagira are cast in NTV drama special “We’re Millennials Got a Problem?” The drama special is set one year after NTV drama series “We’re Millennials Got a Problem?” and Kankuro Kudo returns as screenwriter. The drama series revolves around three millennials who grew up in the yutori system (Japanese educational system that emphasizes a pressure-free education, but criticized as producing students who lack compettiveness).

NTV drama special “We’re Millennials Got a Problem?” will air sometime this summer in Japan.

Teaser trailer #2 added for upcoming SBS drama series “Whisper” starring Lee Bo-Young & Lee Sang-Yoon.

Meanwhile, still images above are the first of major supporting actor Kwon Yool. In the drama series, Kwon Yool plays Kang Jung-Il. He is a lawyer at Taekbaek Law Firm. He is rational and cool. He shows his gentle smile to others and he hides his true self to become a successor at Taebaek Law Firm.

Trailer #2 added for upcoming movie “To Each His Own” starring Sota Fukushi & Asuka Kudo. Movie is directed by Izuru Narushima & based on 2015 novel “Chotto Ima Kara Shigoto Yamete Kuru” by Emi Kitagawa. Story for “To Each His Own” follows workaholic salaryman Takashi Aoyama (Asuka Kudo). He blacks out on a subway platform and is about to fall into the path of an oncoming train, but is saved by a mysterious man (Sota Fukushi).

Here’s two character posters for upcoming film “One Day” starring Kim Nam-Gil and Chun Woo-Hee. Caption for Kim Nam-Gil’s character poster states “I did not imagine that kind of thing would happen to me,” while caption for Chun Woo-Hee’s character poster states “Would you do me a favor?” Story for “One Day” revolves around an insurance agent (Kim Nam-Gil) who goes to check on a comatose woman (Chun Woo-Hee) in the hospital, but he ends up meeting her ghost. Movie is directed by Lee Yoon-Ki.

Teaser trailer for upcoming period film “Sekigahara” starring Junichi Okada, Koji Yakusho & Kasumi Arimura. Movie is based on novel “Sekigahara” by Ryotaro Shiba and directed by Masato Harada. Story for “Sekigahara” takes place in 1600 during the Battle of Sekigahara. Mitsunari Ishida (Junichi Okada) and Ieyasu Tokugawa (Koji Yakusho) face off with the fate of the nation hanging in the balance. Hatsume (Kasumi Arimura) was sent as a spy to watch Mitsunari Ishida, but she falls in love with him.
