Teaser trailer for Naver TV Cast/JTBC web drama series “Hip Hop Teacher”

For better or worse, JTBC has unleashed the first teaser trailer for its upcoming web drama series “Hip Hop Teacher.” The web drama series stars Lee Joo-Young, Yura from idol group ‘Girl’s Day’ and An Woo-Yeon. Story for “Hip Hop Teacher” will follow former underground hip-hop artist Gong Seul-Ki (Lee Joo-Young) who now works as an elementary school teacher.

“Hip Hop Teacher” will first stream on Naver TV Cast on August 14, 2017 in South Korea.

Hyun Woo cast SBS drama series “Bravo My Life”

Hyun Woo is cast for a lead role in SBS drama series “Bravo My Life” co-starring Jung Yoo-Mi and Yeon Jeong-Hun. Story for the drama series will follow three people working at a broadcasting station. Hyun-Woo will play Kim Bum-Woo. He wants to become an actor, but he hasn’t made a debut for 7 years due to stage fright.

First script reading is scheduled to take place July 29, 2017 and the drama series will first air October 7, 2017 in South Koera.

Two main posters for tvN drama series “Deserving of the Name”

Two main posters for upcoming tvN drama series “Deserving of the Name” starring Kim Nam-Gil and Kim A-Joong. The poster features Kim Nam-Gil as real life historical figure Heo Im and Kim A-Joong as fictional character Dr. Choi Yeon-Kyung. Heo Im was considered the top oriental doctor during the Joseon period, but the drama series has him traveling through time and arriving in present day Seoul.

“Deserving of the Name” first airs August 12, 2017 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for movie “Namhansanseong”

Teaser trailer added for period film “Namhansanseong” starring Lee Byung-Hun, Kim Yun-Seok & Park Hae-Il. Movie is set in the year 1636 and in the mountain fortress city of Namhansanseong. The Qing Dynasty attacks Joseon, while King Injo and his retainers use Namhansanseong as an emergency capital. Movie is directed by Hwang Dong-Hyuk (“Silenced“/”Miss Granny“).

“Namhansanseong” is now slotted for release September, 2017 in South Korea.

Kyoko Koizumi, Hikari Mitsushima, Kaho, Maki Sakai, Aiko Morishita and Miho Kanno cast in TBS drama series “Prison’s Princess”

Kyoko Koizumi, Hikari Mitsushima, Kaho, Maki Sakai, Aiko Morishita and Miho Kanno are all cast in new TBS drama series “Prison’s Princess” (literal title). The drama series follows five female prisoners and a prison officer (played by Hikari Mitsushima). When Kayo Baba (Kyoko Kizumi) is released from prison after 6 years, she meets with three of her former inmates. They concoct a plan to take revenge for their former cellmate Shinobu Edogawa (Kaho). She is unjustly imprisoned on murder charges. The prison officer also helps the woman in their revenge plan. Drama series is directed by Fuminori Kaneko and screenplay written by Kankuro Kudo.

“Prison’s Princess” first airs October, 2017 in Japan.

Seo Hyun-Jin & Yang Se-Jong cast in SBS drama series “Temperature of Love”

Seo Hyun-Jin & Yang Se-Jong are cast for lead roles in new SBS drama series “Temperature of Love” (literal title). For the drama series, Seo Hyun-Jin will play Lee Hyun-Soo. Her character has worked as an assistant writer for the past 10 years, but she has just written her first drama series screenplay. Yang Se-Jong will play On Jung-Sun. He works as the chef at a restaurant. After high school, he traveled to France and studied cooking there. He likes Lee Hyun-Soo when they first meet, but he doesn’t get close to her, believing love should be a product of mutual interest. Seo Hyun-Jin & Yang Se-Jong previously worked together in SBS drama series “Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim.”

“Temperature of Love” will first air September 18, 2017 in South Korea.
