Main trailer and poster for movie “Kenen”

Poster and trailer added for movie “Kenen” starring Masataka Kubota, Hirofumi Arai, Keiko Enoue and Miwako Kakei. Story for “Kenen” follows a pair of brothers and a pair of sisters.

Meanwhile, Kentaro and Aisa Takeuchi will make cameo appearances in the film. Their cameo appearance will be as high school students in the movie “Koi Suru Kimi no Tonari niwa” (a movie in a movie like segment in “Kenen”).

“Kenen” will be released February 10, 2018 in Japan.

Choi Ji-Woo and Minho cast in tvN drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World”

Choi Ji-Woo and Minho (‘SHINee’) are cast in upcoming tvN drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World.” Choi Ji-Woo will play Yeon-Soo. Her mother (Won Mi-Kyung) gets diagnosed with a terminal disease. Meanwhile, Minho will Jung-Soo. He is the younger brother of Yeon-Soo. He learns that his mother doesn’t have much time to live. The drama series is a remake of 1996 MBC drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye.”

“The Most Beautiful Goodbye in the World” will consist of 4 episodes and first air December, 2017 in South Korea.

Lee Sung-Yeol cast in KBS1 drama series “I Love Even If I Hate”

Lee Sung-Yeol (‘INFINITE’) is cast for the lead male role in upcoming KBS1 weekday evening drama series “I Love Even If I Hate.” For the drama series, he will play Hong Seok-Pyo. Even though his mother is the CEO of a company, he works as a guard at an affiliated company. He resents his mother. Hong Seok-Pyo then meets a woman named Eun-Zo. Actress Pyo Ye-Jin has been offered the lead female role of Eun-Zo and she is currently considering the offer.

“I Love Even If I Hate” first airs November, 2017 in South Korea.

Main trailer added for upcoming movie “Preparation” (literal title) starring Ko Du-Shim, Kim Sung-Kyun, Yoo-Sun and a special appearance by Shin Se-Kyung. Similar to 1996 MBC drama series “The Most Beautiful Goodbye” or 2010 movie “Wedding Dress,” story for “Preparation” follows a mother who learns she has a terminal disease. Her son though is an adult, but has a mental disability.

Lee Hong-Ki cast in tvN drama series “Hwayuki”

Lee Hong-Ki from ‘F.T. Island’ is cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Hwayuki” starring Cha Seung-Won and Oh Yeon-Seo. Actor Lee Seung-Gi is still considering an offer to play the lead male character and Yoon Bo-Ra from ‘Sistar’ is considering an offer to play a supporting female character.

For the drama series, Lee Hong-Ki will play P.K. His character is Zhu Bajie in the original classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West” which the drama series is based on. P.K is scripted as a top star and he gets various information based on his popularity and social skills. With the information he comes and goes between Son O-Gong and Woo Hwi-Cheol (Cha Seung-Won).”Hwayuki” will first air December, 2017 in South korea.

First script reading for tvN drama special “Assistant Manager B and Love Letter”

First script reading for tvN drama special “Assistant Manager B and Love Letter” took place September 29, 2017 at Studio Dragon in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. At the first script reading, Song Ji-Hyo, Jo Woo-Jin and other main cast members attended. In the drama series, Song Ji-Hyo plays assistant manager at a shoe company. She receives an anonymous love letter and tries to find the sender. Jo Woo-Jin plays Sim Byung-Sun. He is the assistant manager’s boss.

“Assistant Manager B and Love Letter” will air sometime this December in South Korea.

Hironari Amano cast in live-action film “Hana wa Saku ka”

Hironari Amano is cast in upcoming live-action film “Hana wa Saku ka” co-starring Tsurugi Watanabe. Movie is based on manga series “Hana wa Saku ka” by Shoko Hidaka. Hironari Amano will play co-lead character Kazuaki Sakurai. He is a 37-year-old advertising executive. He falls in love with 19-year-ol male art student Yoichi Mizukawa (Tsurugi Watanabe).

Release date for “Hana wa Saku ka” is now set for February 24, 2018 in Japan.
