Teaser poster for KBS2 drama series “Feel Good To Die”

Teaser poster added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Feel Good To Die” (English title) starring Kang Ji-Hwan and Baek Jin-Hee. The drama series is based on webcomic webcomic “Jookeodo Joa” by Goldkiwisae and follows a secretary (Baek Jin-Hee) who goes back in time to save her boss after she wished he would die. Caption on the poster states in Korean “I will protect you without mercy … team leader!”

“Feel Good To Die” first airs November 7, 2018 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #2 for JTBC drama series “SKY Castle”

Teaser trailer #2 added for upcoming JTBC drama series “SKY Castle” starring Yum Jung-AhLee Tae-RanYoon Se-Ah and Oh Na-Ra. Teaser trailer #2 features Yum Jung-Ah as Han Seo-Jin. She is a resident at ultra high end SKY Castle. Narration by Yum Jung-Ah states in Korean “Under the sun the highest spot,” “In order to stand on that spot,” “I can do anything,” “SKY Castle where the women live.”

Teaser trailer #2 also reveals that “SKY Castle” will first air November 23, 2018 in South Korea.

Alan Shirahama and Yuna Taira cast in live-action film “10 Manbun no 1”

Alan Shirahama (“GENERATIONS” and “EXILE”) and Yuna Taira are cast for the lead roles in live-action film “10 Manbun no 1.” The live-action film is based on manga series “10 Manbun no 1” by Kaho Miyasaka and directed by Koichiro Miki. In the film, Alan Shirahama and Yuna Taira will play high school students who are in love with each other, but have been friends only. After the boy asks the girl to go out with him, things change.

“10 Manbun no 1” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Dance Sports Girls”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Dance Sports Girls” took place took place September 20, 2018 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. Main cast members including Park Se-Wan, Jang Dong-Yoon, Lee Joo-Young, Joo Hae-Eun, Shin Do-Hyun, Lee Yoo-Mi, Kim Soo-Hyun, Kim Kap-Soo all attended the script reading. The drama series is a bit unusual in that it is based on documentary film “Dance Sports Girls.” The documentary film follows 8 girls at Geoje Girls’ High School who are members of their school’s dance sports club. The drama series version will follow 6 girls who are members of their school’s dance sports club and are led by their dance sports teacher Lee Kyu-Ho (Kim Kap-Soo).

“Dance Sports Girls” first airs December, 2018 in South Korea.

Kim Nam-Gil, Kim Sung-Kyun and Lee Honey cast in SBS drama series “Hot Blooded Priest”

Kim Nam-Gil, Kim Sung-Kyun and Lee Honey are cast for lead roles in SBS drama series “Hot Blooded Priest” (literal title). The drama series will have Kim Nam-Gil playing Catholic Priest Kim Hae-Il, Kim Sung-Kyun playing Detective Koo Dae-Young and Lee Honey playing Prosecutor Park Kyung-Sun. They work together to solve the murder of a senior Catholic priest. The drama series follows currently airing OCN horror drama series “The Guest” which has Kim Jae-Wook playing a Catholic priest and upcoming OCN medical-horror drama series “Priest” which has Yeon Woo-Jin and Park Yong-Woo playing Catholic priests.

“Hot Blooded Priest” first airs February, 2019 in South Korea.

English subtitled teaser trailer for movie “Makuko”

English subtitled teaser trailer for movie “Makuko” starring Hikaru YamazakiNinonTsuyoshi Kusanagi and Risa Sudo. Movie is based on 2016 novel “Makuko” by Kanako Nishi (“Yellow Elephant“) and directed by Keiko Tsuruoka. The teaser trailer reveals the unusual background of Kozue (Ninon) and her mother Akemi (Risa Sudo). At least claimed by Kozue that they are from another planet.

“Makuko” will be released March, 2019 in Japan.

Main trailer for OCN drama series “Quiz from God: Reboot”

Main trailer added for upcoming OCN drama series “Quiz from God: Reboot” starring Ryu Deok-Hwan and Yoon Joo-Hee. The main trailer has Han Jin-Woo (Ryu Deok-Hwan) sitting outside of a rural, isolated home and he yells out “Hold on, I’m coming.” Caption in Korean then states “If it is not new, never coming back.” Around the 18 second mark, caption then states “Rare diseases which have secrets and cases.” Caption then around the 23 second mark states “Autopsy hidden truth!”

“Quiz from God: Reboot” is now set to first air November 14, 2018 in South Korea.
