Kim Min-Jae, Kim Hyang-Gi, & Kim Sang-Kyung cast in tvN drama “Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-Poong”

Kim Min-JaeKim Hyang-Gi, and Kim Sang-Kyung are cast in tvN drama series “Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-Poong” (literal title). The drama series will have Kim Min-Jae playing title character Yoo Se-Poong. He worked for the royal family as a physician, but gets expelled due to circumstances. He eventually works again in a village and helps people there.

“Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se-Poong” will air sometime this year in South Korea.

Alice Hirose & Hokuto Matsumura cast Fuji TV-KTV drama “Koi Nante, Honki de Yatte Dousuruno”

Alice Hirose and Hokuto Matsumura are cast in Fuji TV-KTV drama series “Koi Nante, Honki de Yatte Dousuruno.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Taeko Asano (“13“) and directed by Ryo Miyawaki (“Matrimonial Chaos“). For the drama series, Alice Hirose will play main character Jun Sakurazawa. She isn’t interested in finding love, but has a secret for her reason.

“Koi Nante, Honki de Yatte Dousuruno” first airs April, 2022 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Monday 10 PM time slot after “Dr. White“).

Park Seo-Joon & Han So-Hee cast in drama “Gyeongseong Creature”

Park Seo-Joon & Han So-Hee are cast in drama series “Gyeongseong Creature” (literal title). The drama series is scripted by Kang Eun-Kyung (“Dr. Romantic“) and directed by Jung Dong-Yoon (“Hot Stove League“). The script for “Gyeongseong Creature” is set in 1945 and in the capital city of Gyeongseong, which is a an older name for Seoul. A series of missing person cases takes place in the area.

“Gyeongseong Creature” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Apple TV+ drama “Pachinko” to premiere March 25th

Apple TV+ drama series “Pachinko,” starring Youn Yuh-Jung, Soji Arai, Lee Min-Ho, & Jung Eun-Chae, to premiere March 25, 2021 worldwide. In addition, above and below are the first five still images from the drama series. The screenplay is based on 2017 novel “Pachinko” by Lee Min-Jin. The drama series will be told in Korean, Japanese, and English languages, while spanning filming locations from South Korea, Japan, and the United States.

“Pachinko” will consist of 8 total episodes, with the first 3 episodes released on March 25, 2022 and 1 episode released per week afterwards on Friday.

Third teaser trailer & teaser poster for JTBC drama “Thirty Nine”

Third teaser trailer and teaser poster added for JTBC drama series “Thirty Nine” starring Son Ye-Jin, Jeon Mi-Do, & Kim Ji-Hyun. The teaser trailer begins with Son Ye-Jin stating “We, who are about to turn 40, haven’t changed much.” Above is a teaser poster for the drama series that has captions that states “Our lovable days, where we laughed a lot and cried a lot.”

“Thirty Nine” will first air February 16, 2022 in South Korea and also stream on Netflix worldwide about an hour after the drama series airs in Korea.

Script reading for OCN drama “Superior Day”

The first script reading for OCN drama series “Superior Day” (literal title), starring Jin Goo, Ha Do-Kwon, & Lee Won-Geun, took place back on November, 2021. Above and below are photos of the three leads at the first script reading. Filming for the drama series also began November, 2021.

Ep.1 of “Superior Day” is also now scheduled to first air March, 2022. The drama series is based on webcomic “Uwolhan Halu” by Team Getname and revolves around Lee Ho-Cheol (Jin Goo), who lives next door to serial killer Kwon Shi-Woo (Lee Won-Geun). Lee Ho-Cheol is given 24 hours to kill the serial killer to save his kidnapped daughter.

Teaser trailer for Netflix drama series “Juvenile Justice”

English subtitled teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “Juvenile Justice” starring Kim Hye-Soo & Kim Moo-Yul. 10 character posters for the drama series has also been release. The first four are of Kim Hye-Soo, Kim Moo-Yul, Lee Sung-Min, and Lee Jung-Eun, who all play judges. Captions on their poster states “I hate juvenile offenders.” The last 6 character posters are juvenile offender characters. The identities of the actors that play them has not yet been revealed. Captions on their posters states “I am a juvenile offender.”

“Juvenile Justice” is now scheduled to premiere February 25, 2022 on Netflix.

Movie is based on 2005 Chinese novel “Serve the People” by Yan Lianke and directed by Jang Cheol-Soo (“Secretly Greatly“). The screenplay is set within the military, where an affair takes place between a soldier and a military commander’s wife.

Trailer & poster for movie “Tonbi”

Trailer and poster added for movie “Tonbi” starring Hiroshi Abe and Takumi Kitamura. Movie is based on 2008 novel “Tonbi” by Kiyoshi Shigematsu and follows 2012 NHK drama special “Tonbi” and 2013 TBS drama series “Tonbi.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Hyacinth” by pop-rock duo Yuzu. Theme song “Hyacinth” is played in the main trailer.

“Tonbi” is now set for release April 8, 2022 in Japan.
