Takuya Kimura cast in TV Asahi drama series “BG: Personal Bodyguard”

Takuya Kimura is cast in new TV Asahi drama series “BG: Personal Bodyguard” (literal title). The drama series is based on an original screenplay by Yumiko Inoue. For “BG: Personal Bodyguard,” Takuya Kimura will play main character Akira Shimazaki. He once worked as a bodyguard, but now works as a security guard at a construction site. The company he works for then forms a bodyguard division and Akira Shimazaki works as a bodyguard again. Takuya Kimura will receive training from a security company in early December to prep for his role.

“BG: Personal Bodyguard” first airs January, 2018 in Japan.
