Naohito Fujiki and Susumu Terajima cast in TV Tokyo drama “D&D”

Naohito Fujiki and Susumu Terajima are cast in TV Tokyo drama series “D&D.” The human mystery drama series will have Naohito Fujiki will play Ryo Kamiko. He is a doctor and director of a regional hospital that is facing a financial crisis. Susumu Terajima will play Bunpei Yuge. He is a quirky veteran detective who doesn’t show favoritism to his organization. The doctor and detective work together to solve violent crimes that seem related to the hospital’s situation.

“D&D” will first air October 18, 2024 in Japan (will air in TV Tokyo’s new 9PM time slot, with prior drama series “Shosen Hitogoto desu kara” airing at 8PM).

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: A hospital in a suburban town faces a financial crisis. Doctor Ryo Kamiko (Naohito Fujiki) is the acting director of the municipal hospital. He is a rationalist who takes management very seriously. Meanwhile, Bunpei Yuge (Susumu Terajima) is a veteran detective and he works in the same town as the hospital.

Doctor Ryo Kamiko and Detective Bunpei Yuge would not appear to have much in common, but vicious crimes take place in the town. These crimes are closely related to the collapse and revival of the regional medical hospital. Doctor Ryo Kamiko and Detective Bunpei Yuge face the crimes cause by people who have fallen through the cracks of society, see the crimes from their own respective positions, and solve them together.
