IU cast in movie “Dream”

IU is cast in movie “Dream” (working title) co-starring Park Seo-Joon. The film is directed by Lee Byeong-Hun (“Be Melodramatic“/”Extreme Job“). For the film, IU wil play PD Lee So-Min from a broadcasting station. She works on a documentary about a special national soccer team coached by Yoon Hong-Dae (Park Seo-Joon). The players on the soccer team consists of homeless people.

“Dream” will be released sometime later this year in South Korea.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Due to a sudden accident, Sang-Won’s (Ha Jung-Woo) wife dies. Sang-Won has a daughter Yi-Na (Heo Yool), but his relationship with Yi-Na becomes awkward. To recover his relationship with Yi-Na, they move to a new house. Sang-Won tries to get close to Yi-Na, but it’s not easy. One day, Yi-Na tells him that she has a new friend. Since that time, she begins to laugh. But, Sang-Won hears strange sounds rom Yi-Na’s closet and he notices unusual signs from Yi-Na. Sang-Won then begins to have strange dreams.

Yi-Na then disappears. Sang-Won looks for his daughter, when mysterious man Kyung-Hoon (Kim Nam-Gil) comes to him. He tells Sang-Won that he knows where Yi-Na is and points to her closet.

Character trailer and poster added for upcoming comedy film “Mr. Zoo” starring Lee Sung-Min & Kim Seo-Hyung. The film is written and directed by Kim Tae-Yoon (“New Trial“). The film should not be confused with upcoming film “Secret Zoo” which deals with workers pretending to be animals to boost zoo ticket sales.

Plot synopsis from AsianWiki: Joo Tae-Joo (Lee Sung-Min) is an ace agent for the NIS. He carries out an assignment to guard a VIP. Due to a sudden accident, the VIP disappears and Joo Tae-Joo mistakenly falls down. After the fall, Joo Tae-Joo can hear and understand animals when they talk. With the help of military dog Ali, Joo Tae-Joo tries to find the VIP.

Here’s three character posters for upcoming movie “The Man Standing Next” starring Lee Byung-Hun. The character posters are of Lee Byung-Hun as KCIA Chief Kim Kyu-Pyeong, Kwak Do-Won as ex-KCIA Chief Park Yong-Kak, and Lee Hee-Joon as Presidential Security Service Chief Kwak Sang-Cheon.
