Here’s the first 2 still images from Netflix drama series “Kingdom Season 2.” The still image above is of Lee Chang (Ju Ji-Hoon) from the back as he is about to draw his sword. The still image below shows zombies from the back side. In season 1 of “Kingdom” the zombies were only active at night and they were absolutely averse to the sunlight. The still image below shows the zombies now gravitating towards to the sunlight. Uh oh …

“Kingdom Season 2” will be available to stream on Netflix sometime later this year.

Cha Eun-Woo cast in MBC drama series “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung”

Cha Eun-Woo (‘Astro’) is now cast in MBC drama series “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung” (literal title) co-starring Shin Se-Kyung. Cha Eun-Wook will play lead male character Prince Lee Rim in the drama series. Prince Lee Rim is second in line to the throne. He has also never had a girlfriend, but he is secretly a popular romance writer. He becomes romantically involved with Goo Hae-Ryung (Shin Se-Kyung).

“Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung” first airs July, 2019 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #4 & #5 for tvN drama series “Confession”

Teaser trailer #4 & #5 added for upcoming tvN drama series “Confession” starring Lee Joon-Ho (2PM), Shin Hyun-Bin and Yoo Jae-Myung. Teaser #4 features Lee Joon-Ho as attorney Choi Do-Hyun. He provides narration in the teaser and says in Korean “A case which received a verdict cannot be tried again. This is the law prohibiting double jeopardy. That is the law and reality. That is why the verdict is more important than the truth.” Teaser #5 features Yoo Jae-Myung as Ki Choon-Ho. He states in the teaser “Because of the law prohibiting double jeopardy, if the true culprit receives a not guilty verdict then he is forever not guilty. That is why I have to catch the true culprit.”

Below are the first still images of Lee Hoon-Ho and Yoo Jae-Myung in the drama series. “Confession” first airs March 23, 2019 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for JTBC drama series “Beautiful World”

First teaser trailer for JTBC drama series “Beautiful World” starring Park Hee-Soon, Choo Ja-Hyun and Nam Da-Reum. The teaser trailer show Nam Da-Reum as high school student Park Sun-Ho. He appears to be blissfully listening to music, but the camera pans out and shows that he is injured. A song plays in the background with lyrics in Korean that says “Let’s make a Beautiful World together, Beautiful World.” The drama series will likely draw comparisons to hit JTBC drama series “SKY Castle,” due to its depiction of parents and their children.

“Beautiful World” first airs April 5, 2019 in Japan.

Main promo for OCN drama series “Kill It”

Teaser trailer #3 titled “main promo” added for upcoming OCN drama series “Kill It” starring Chang Ki-Yong and Nana (After School). The main promo shows Nana as Do Hyun-Jin for the first time. Around the 19 second mark in the trailer, Nana’s voice appears and she says in Korean “Killer becomes the detective’s target.”

“Kill It” first airs March 16, 2019  in South Korea.

Ahn Jae-Hong & Gong Myung cast in JTBC drama series “Melo Suits Me”

Ahn Jae-Hong and Gong Myung are cast in upcoming JTBC drama series “Melo Suits Me” (literal title) starring Chun Woo-Hee, Jeon Yeo-Bin and Han Ji-Eun. For the drama series, Ahn Jae-Hong will play Son Beom-Soo. His character is a successful drama series PD, but he isn’t interested in making drama series anymore. He then sees a script by Im Jin-Joo (Chun Woo-Hee). Gong Myung will play Choo Jae-Hoon. He works with Hwang Han-Joo (Han Ji-Eun) and likes her.

“Melo Suits Me” first airs July, 2019 in South Korea.

Teaser poster for upcoming JTBC drama series “Beautiful World” (literal title). The drama series features an ensemble cast starring Park Hee-Soon, Choo Ja-Hyun, Oh Man-Seok, Cho Yeo-Jeong, Nam Da-Reum and Kim Hwan-Hee. The teaser poster features Nam Da-Reum as Park Sun-Ho and Kim Hwan-Hee as Park Soo-Ho. Caption on the poster states in Korean “I want to go back to the day when my older brother smiled.”

“Beautiful World” is now scheduled to first air Friday, April 5, 2019 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer and teaser poster for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Doctor Prisoner” starring Namgung Min and Kwon Na-Ra (“HELLOVENUS”). The first teaser trailer features Namgung Min as Na Yi-Je. The teaser trailer shows captions in Korean around the 4 second mark which states “Doctor: A person whose job is to treat diseases.” At the 15 second mark, caption then states “When doctor goes to prison.”

Moon Geun-Young offered lead female role in tvN drama series “Catch Yoo-Ryung”

Moon Geun-Young has been offered the lead female role in tvN drama series “Catch Yoo-Ryung” (literal title). Currently Moon Geun-Young is considering the offer. If she accepts, Moon Geun-Young will play title character Yoo-Ryung. She works as a detective. Drama series will be directed by Shin Yoon-Sub (“Come Back Mister“).

“Catch Yoo-Ryung” first airs sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Lee Jong-Suk to begin military service March 8, 2019

According to Lee Jong-Suk’s management company A Man Project, Lee Jong-Suk will begin his substitute military service on March 8, 2019. He is scheduled to finish his substitute military service on January 2, 2021. Lee Jong-Suk will perform substitute military service rather than the standard military service due to a car accident he was involved in as a middle school student. The accident caused a rupture of his cruciate ligament. For currently airing tvN drama series “Romance is a Bonus Book,” Lee Jong-Suk will finish filming on February 27, 2019.
