Teaser poster and release date added for upcoming movie “First Ride” starring Kang Ha-Neul, Kim Young-Kwang, Cha Eun-Woo, Kang Young-Seok, & Han Sun-Hwa. Ahn Bo-Hyun and Lee Joo-Bin are cast in tvN drama series “Spring Fever.” Drama series is a romantic-comedy that is based on on web novel “Spring Fever” by Baek Min-A and directed by Park Won-Gook (“Marry My Husband“). Setup for the drama series will have Lee Joo-Bin play Yoon Bom. She is a respected and popular high school teacher in Seoul, but she decides to leave Seoul and work at a high school in a small town. Ahn Bo-Hyun will play Seon Jae-Kyu. He is the uncle of Yoon Bom’s student at her new job. Seon Jae-Kyu takes an interest in Yoon Bom.

“Spring Fever” will first air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Son Ye-Jin and Jo Yuri cast in Netflix drama “Variety”

Son Ye-Jin and Jo Yuri are cast in new Netflix drama series “Variety.” Drama series is written and directed by Kim Yong-Hoon, who previously wrote and directed 2023 Netflix drama series “Mask Girl.” In drama series “Variety,” Son Ye-Jin will entertainment agency CEO Se-Eun. Her goal is to resign the top idol group which she created. Jo Yuri will play Seung-Hee. She is an obsessive fan of that idol group.

“Variety” will be released sometime next year.

See the list of nominees and winners at the just concluded “4th Annual Blue Dragon Series Awards” that took place earlier this evening. The award show focuses on drama series that are distributed by various OTT platforms. This evenings big winners was Netflix drama series “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” which won the top “Daesang Grand Prize,” “Best Actress” award for IU, and “Best Supporting Actress” award for Yum Hye-Ran. Also receiving top awards was Netflix drama series “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,” which won “Best Drama,” “Best Actor” for Ju Ji-Hoon, and “Best New Actor” for Choo Young-Woo.
