Lee Na-Young, Jung Eun-Chae, and Lee Chung-Ah are cast in ENA drama series “Honour.” Drama series is a remake of 2019 Swedish TV program “Heder” known internationally as “Honour.” The Korean version will be directed by Park Gun-Ho (“Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard“) and scripted by Park Ga-Yeon (“Train“). In “Honour,” the three female leads will play lawyers and good friends, who work at a law firm that specializes in defending women who were victim of crimes. While they work on cases, they also deal with something that happened in their past.
“Honour” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yoon Ra-Yeong (Lee Na-Young), Kang Shin-Jae (Jung Eun-Chae) and Hwang Hyun-Jin (Lee Chung-Ah) have been friends for about 20 years. They first met in their 20’s, when they were university students, and they now work together as lawyers at L&J Law Firm. The law firm specializes in defending female crime victims.
Yoon Ra-Yeong is a star lawyer at that law firm. She well known on TV, with her outstanding speaking ability and her beautiful appearance. She is a celebrity lawyer with hundreds of thousands of followers on social media. Yet, there are wounds and anxiety that she has kept hidden for years. At an unexpected moment, she faces the shadow of her past that has plagued her.
Kang Shin-Jae is an ace lawyer at the law firm. She is the leader among the three friends. She has a lion-like charisma that overwhelms anyone and she gets what she wants through negotiation and intimidation. A crime against a woman, which she usually handles, is entangled with her own past and she faces a crisis.
Hwang Hyun-Jin is a lawyer with an elegant charisma and a fiery personality. She prefers to act rather than sitting at a desk. She resists without hesitation anything that she thinks is wrong and goes against her principles, but, as her detective husband begins to dig into her past, she begins to shake.
A secret from 20 years ago, which Yoon Ra-Yeong, Kang Shin-Jae and Hwang Hyun-Jin could not speak to anyone about, rises again and shakes the lives of these women. The women grit their teeth and fight back, showing solidarity and tenacity that cannot be broken.
