Kim Go-Eun, Nam Ji-Hyun & Park Ji-Hoo cast in tvN drama “Little Women”

Kim Go-EunNam Ji-Hyun and Park Ji-Hoo are cast in tvN drama series “Little Women” (literal title). The drama series features an original screenplay by Jung Seo-Kyoung (screenwriter for many Park Chan-Wook films) and directed Kim Hee-Won (“Vincenzo“). For “Little Women,” Kim Go-Eun, Nam Ji-Hyun and Park Ji-Hoo will play sisters who come from a poor family. They go against the most powerful family in the country due to a case.

“Little Women” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.

Captions in the teaser trailer states (0:19) “In the late 1990’s, an appearance of a murder case without a motive,” (0:37) “Dangerous conversation with serial killers,” and (0:58) “Walk into evil’s heart. The birth story of the first profiler in Korea.”

“Through the Darkness” first airs January 14, 2022 in South Korea.

Teaser poster and release date set for KakaoTV drama series “No, Thank You 2” starring Park Ha-Sun & Kwon Yool. The drama series is now set to premiere January 8, 2022 via KakaoTV. Caption on the teaser poster teaases “A gift has come to us” and the poster shows the couple appearing through the window of a pregnancy test kit. A pretty strong hint that Min Sa-Rin (Park Ha-Sun) will be pregnant in season 2. Below are the first still images of Park Ha-Sun as Min Sa-Rin in the sequel drama series.

Yeo Jin-Goo and Mun Ka-Young are cast in tvN drama series “Link: Eat and Love To Kill” (literal title). The two will play lead roles in the drama series. Yeo Jin-Goo will play Eun Kye-Hoon. He is the chef of a high end restaurant. Mun Ka-Young will play No Da-Hyun. She is unemployed and looking for a job. She is mistreated by those around her, including her mother and friends.

Link: Eat and Love To Kill” will air sometime in the first half of 2022.

First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Dr. Park’s Clinic” (English title) starring Lee Seo-Jin & Ra Mi-Ran. The teaser trailer features a promotional video for the clinic run by internal medicine specialist Park Won-Jang. Lee Seo-Jin introduces the clip with “If you are looking for a family like clinic,” and that is followed by Cha Chung-Hwa saying the name “Internist Park Won-Jang.”

“Dr. Park’s Clinic” will stream from January 14, 2022 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer for KakaoTV drama “Her Bucket List”

First teaser trailer added for KakaoTV drama series “Her Bucket List” starring Na In-Woo & Kim So-Hye. The drama series is based on webcomic “Geunyeoui Bucket List” by Hwang Yang & illustrated by Sop. The teaser opens with Kang Han-Sol  (Na In-Woo) and Cha Ra-Ri (Kim So-Hye) meeting for the first time, with Kang Han-Sol meekly playing his guitar and singing at park bench and Cha Ra-Ri listening to him and then crying. Caption around the 19 second mark states “Bucket list that made fate.”

“Her Bucket List” consists of 10 episodes and will be available to stream from December 31, 2021.

Main cast returns in TVING drama “Work Later, Drink Now Season 2”

TVING announces that sequel drama series “Work Later, Drink Now Season 2” will be produced, with Lee Sun-BinHan Sun-HwaJung Eun-Ji, and Choi Si-Won all returning to play their respective lead characters. The first season of “Work Later, Drink Now” streamed on TVING from October 22 – November 26, 2021. The script featured three close female friends who all love to drink alcohol and depicts problems they face in life, often in humorous ways. Choi Si-Won plays a TV producer at TVING and co-worker of the character played by Lee Sun-Bin.

Release date for the sequel drama series has not yet been revealed.

Netflix to stream sequel drama “D.P. Season 2”

Netflix announces sequel drama series “D.P. Season 2” and launching teaser trailer added. The drama series follows “D.P. ” season 1, which premiered August 27, 2021. The launching teaser trailer for the sequel drama series has Koo Gyo-Hwan as Han Ho-Yeol asking (0:07) “What are you doing? Am I going by myself?” and Jung Hae-In as An Jun-Ho responds (0:10) “No.” “D.P. Season 2” will be scripted & directed by Han Jun-Hee, who also did the same for the first season of “D.P.” Casting has not yet been announced, but the teaser trailer does imply that Jung Hae-In and Koo Gyo-Hwan will return for their lead characters roles.

“D.P. Season 2” will be available to stream sometime next year.
