See list of winners and nominees at the 2025 MBC Drama Awards. The award show took place this evening, December 30, 202, and was hosted by broadcaster Kim Sung-Joo and actress Lee Sun-Bin. Two shows were big winners at the award event and they were “Undercover High School” and “Moon River.” “Undercover High School” won 4 awards, with actor Seo Kang-Joon winning the Grand Prize. “Moon River” won 7 awards, with Kang Tae-Oh and Kim Se-Jeong winning the Best Actor and Best Actress awards.

Yim Si-Wan & Seol In-A cast in tvN drama “My Guilty Man”

Yim Si-Wan & Seol In-A are cast in tvN drama series “My Guilty Man” (literal title). Drama series is based on web novel “Yeojain Girl Wae Moreuji?” by Lee A-Hyun & Ryu Do-Ha. “My Guilty Man” is set up as a thrilling romance between a chaebol heir, who becomes a suspect in a murder case, and his personal secretary, who is actually a detective. Yim Si-Wan will play third generation chaebol heir Yoon Yi-Joon. Seol In-A will play Kang Jae-Hee. She disguises herself as a man and goes undercover as Yoon Ji-Yoon’s personal secretary. Park Dan-Hee (“Tastefully Yours“) will direct the drama series.

“My Guilty Man” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Release date and teaser poster added for Netflix drama series “Can This Love Be Translated?” starring Kim Sun-Ho & Go Youn-Jung. Drama series is scripted by sisters Hong Jung-EunHong Mi-Ran and directed by Yoo Young-Eun (“Bloody Heart“). Screenwriters Hong Jung-Eun & Hong Mi-Ran and lead actress Go Youn-Jung previously worked together in tvN drama series “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow.” Japanese actor Sota Fukushi will also make his first appearance in a Korean drama series with “Can This Love Be Translated?” Filming for the drama series took place in South Korea, Japan, Canada, and Italy.

“Can This Love Be Translated?” will now premiere January 16, 2026.

Air date set for SBS drama “Human From Today”

Release date set for SBS drama series “Human From Today” starring Kim Hye-Yoon & Lomon. The fantasy/romantic-comedy drama series is now set to air from January 16, 2026, taking over SBS’ Friday and Saturday 9:50 time slot from “Taxi Driver 3.” Meanwhile, photos were released of the first script reading for “Human From Today” that took place on September 28, 2024. Attending the first script reading were Kim Hye-Yoon, Lomon, Lee Si-Woo, Jang Dong-Joo, Choi Seung-Yoon, In Gyo-Jin, Lee Seung-Joon, Hong Soo-Hyun, Yu Hwan, Kim Tae-Jung, Ji Seung-Jun, & Kim Tae-Hee. According to the production team of the drama series, they stated that there are many stories based on the gumiho folklore, but “Human From Today” will provide its own unique and fun spin, with an original setting and world view.
