Jung Woo, Lee Yoo-Mi, Kwon Yool & Park Se-Young cast in tvN drama “Mental Coach Jegal Gil”

Jung WooLee Yoo-MiKwon Yool, and Park Se-Young are cast in tvN drama series “Mental Coach Jegal Gil.” The drama series revolves around the national taekwondo team. Jung Woo will play Jegal Gil, who is a former member of the taekwondo team. He returns to the sport as a mental coach. Lee Yoo-Mi will play speed skater Cha Ga-Eul. Kwon Yool will play Ku Tae-Man, who is a rival of Jegal Gil, and Park Se-Young will play Counselor Park Seung-Ha.

“Mental Coach Jegal Gil” will air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Lee Jae-Wook, Jung So-Min, Minhyun, & Shin Seung-Ho cast in tvN drama “Return”

Lee Jae-Wook, Jung So-Min, Minhyun (NU’EST), and Shin Seung-Ho are cast in tvN drama series “Return” (literal title). The fantasy-romance themed drama series is scripted by sisters Hong Jung-EunHong Mi-Ran (“Hotel Del Luna“) and directed by Park Joon-Hwa (“What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim“). Also cast for supporting roles are Yu Jun-Sang, Oh Na-Ra, and Jo Jae-Yun. The drama series will be set in a fictional country and revolve around spirits that have come back to life.

“Return” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Our Blues” starring Lee Byung-Hun, Shin Min-A, Han Ji-Min, & Kim Woo-Bin. The drama series is set on Jeju island and features an impressive ensemble cast, which are shown in the trailer. Lee Byung-Hun in the teaser trailer drives around in a truck selling tofu.

First script reading for tvN drama “The Killer’s Shopping List”

First script reading for tvN drama series “The Killer’s Shopping List,” starring Lee Kwang-Soo, Seol Hyun, & Jin Hee-Kyung, took place November, 2021 in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. The first script reading included Director Lee Eon-Hee, Screenwriter Han Ji-Wan, and main cast members including Lee Kwang-Soo, Seol Hyun, Jin Hee-Kyung, Shin Sung-Woo, Jang Won-Young, Kim Mi-Hwa, Bae Myung-Jin, and Oh Hye-Won. Right after the first script reading ended, Lee Kwang-Soo stated “It’s a new drama series that I haven’t seen before, so I’m personally looking forward to it” and Seol Hyun stated “I’m excited and will have fun filming. We actors and actresses are having good chemistry, atmosphere and energy. I hope these things are conveyed well through the drama series.” Director Lee Eon has up to this point directed such popular films as (2003) “…ing,” (2007) “Love Exposure,” (2016) “Missing,” and (2018) “The Accidental Detective 2: In Action.”

“The Killer’s Shopping List” is now set to first air April, 2022 in South Korea.
