Movie is based on manga series “Miyamoto kara Kimi e” by Hideki Arai (“Come On Irene“) and directed by Tetsuya Mariko (“Destruction Babies“). The film also follows 2018 TV Tokyo drama series “Miyamoto kara Kimi e” which also stars Sosuke Ikematsu and has Tetsuya Mariko as its director.

Main trailer added for movie “A Girl Missing” starring Mariko Tsutsui and Mikako Ichikawa. Movie is written and directed by Koji Fukada. Mariko Tsutsui and Koji Fukada previously collaborated on 2016 film “Harmonium” and “A Girl Missing” follows in that film’s footsteps. A crime takes place among a family where a close outsider is involved.

Kanata Hosoda & Nagisa Sekimizu are cast in live-action film “The World of Machida-kun” (literal title). The film is based on manga “Machida-kun no Sekai” by Yuki Ando and directed by Yuya Ishii. Kanata Hosoda will play lead male character Hajime Machida and Nagisa Sekimizu will play lead female character Nana Inohara. They were both cast after going through auditions with about 1,000 contestants taking part. Cast in supporting roles are: Takanori Iwata (“J Soul Brothers”/”EXILE”), Mitsuki Takahata, Atsuko Maeda, Taiga, Sosuke Ikematsu, Erika Toda, Koichi Sato, Yukiya Kitamura and Nanako Matsushima.

Sosuke Ikematsu and Yu Aoi are cast in live-action film “Miyamoto kara Kimi e.” Movie is based on manga series “Miyamoto kara Kimi e” by Hideki Arai and follows 2018 TV Tokyo drama series “Miyamoto kara Kimi e.” Also cast in the live-action film are Kenichi Matsuyama, Tokio Emoto, Hosshan and Kanji Furutachi. All of the announced cast members appeared in the drama series version and will reprise their respective roles. Filming for the movie began September 29, 2018 and finished October 30, 2018. Teaser posters and teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Killing” starring Sosuke Ikematsu and Yu Aoi. Movie is written and directed by Shinya Tsukamoto. The film is set in Edo era Japan and Sosuke Ikematsu plays the main character who is a ronin. “Killing” will screen in the competition section at this year’s Venice Film Festival (August 29-September 8, 2018) and will open November 24, 2018 in Japan.

Movie is based on novel “Chiri Tsubaki” by Rin Hamuro and directed by award winning cinematographer Daisaku Kimura. The new teaser poster also features Hidetoshi Nishijima,Haru Kuroki, Kumiko Aso and Sosuke Ikematsu. Caption on the teaser poster states in Japanese “Only, For Love.”

Sosuke Ikematsu is cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Miyamoto kara Kimi e.” The drama series is based on manga “Miyamoto kara Kimi e” by Hideki Arai and will be directed by Tetsuya Mariko. Sosuke Ikematsu will play main character Hiroshi Miyamoto in the drama series. The character of Hiroshi Miyamoto is fresh out of college and works his first job as a salesman for a stationary company. His job doesn’t go well, but he does fall in love with the receptionist at an automobile company. He attempts to talk to her.

Sosuke Ikematsu, Kim Kkobbi, Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Koji Ookura are cast in movie “Kimi ga Kimi de Kimi da.” The film is written and directed by Daigo Matsui. The film’s unusual premise has 3 men in love with a woman. They change themselves to someone their woman loves including musician Yutaka Ozaki (Sosuke Ikematsu), American actor Brad Pitt (Shinnosuke Mitsushima) and political figure Ryoma Sakamoto (Koji Ookura).
Filming for “Kimi ga Kimi de Kimi da” has already finished and the movie will be released sometime next year in Japan.
Mahiro Takasugi and Shono Hayama are cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Setoutsumi.” The drama series is based on manga series “Setoutsumi” by Kazuya Konomoto. 2016 feature film “Setoutsumi” is also based on the same manga series and stars Masaki Suda and Sosuke Ikematsu in the lead roles. The drama series follows two high school kids who have nothing better to do than sit by the river after. The slice of life story indulges in the quirky dialogue between the students.

Movie is cinematographer Daisaku Kimura’s third film as a director and his first set in a historical period. The film is based on 2012 novel “Chiri Tsubaki” by Rin Hamuro. Filming for “Chiri Tsubaki” begins May 15, 2017 and finishes at the end of July, 2017 in Japan.
