Teaser trailer for movie “Hard Days”

Teaser trailer added for movie “Hard Days” starring Junichi Okada & Go Ayano. Movie is a remake of 2014 South Korean film “A Hard Day” starring Lee Sun-Kyun and Cho Jin-Woong. 10 supporting actors were also announced today for the movie “Hard Days.” They are Ryoko Hirosue, Hayato Isomura, Tetta Sugimoto, Taro Suruga, Mario Kuroba, Ryusuke Komakine, Takashi Yamanaka, Maho Yamada, Kurumi Shimizu, & Akira Emoto. Story for the movie takes place over a very chaotic 96 hour period.

“Hard Days” will be released May 19, 2023 in Japan.

Kenshi Okada cast in TV Asahi drama “Cherry Blossom’s Tower”

Kenshi Okada is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Cherry Blossom’s Tower” (literal title) starring Hiroshi Tamaki & Ryoko Hirosue. For the drama series, which is set at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Kenshi Okada will play Detective Asuma Togashi. He works well as a detective and gets noticed for his work by Ren Kamijo’s (Hiroshi Tamaki) attention. 

“Cherry Blossom’s Tower” will air April, 2021 in Japan.

Kiichi Nakai, Kuranosuke Sasaki and Ryoko Hirosue cast in sequel film “We Make Antiques 2”

Kiichi Nakai, Kuranosuke Sasaki and Ryoko Hirosue are cast in sequel film “We Make Antiques 2.” The film is a sequel to 2018 movie “We Make Antiques.” Kiichi Nakai and Kuranosuke Sasaki will reprise their main character roles of Norio Koike and Sasuke Noda. Ryoko Hirosue will play new character Shino. Filming will begin mid-Febraury, 2019 and Masaharu Take will return to direct the sequel film.

“We Make Antiques 2” will be released January, 2020 in Japan.

Trailer for movie “Life in Overtime”

Trailer added for upcoming movie “Life in Overtime” starring Hiroshi Tachi, Hitomi Kuroki and Ryoko Hirosue. Movie is based on novel “Owatta Hito” by Makiko Uchidate. The film revolves around Sosuke Tashiro (Hiroshi Tachi) as he prepares for live after retirement. He is married to Chigusa Tashiro (Hitomi Kuroki), but he meets a younger woman (Ryoko Hirosue). The film is directed by Hideo Nakata, better known for his horror films like “Ring.”

“Life in Overtime” will be released June 9, 2018 in Japan.

Teaser trailer for movie “Life in Overtime” starring Hiroshi Tachi, Hitomi Kuroki and Ryoko Hirosue. Story for “Life in Overtime” follows Sosuke Tashiro (Hiroshi Tachi) as he retires from his company. He can’t help noticing other people his age just passing their days doing nothing and decides that’s not for him. He meets the president of an IT company and also a woman. Movie is based on 2015 novel “Owatta Hito” by Makiko Uchidate and directed Hideo Nakata.

Yui Aragaki and Eita cast in table tennis themed film “Mix”

Yui Aragaki and Eita are cast in new table tennis themed film “Mix.” Movie also features an impressive list of supporting cast members including Ryoko Hirosue, Kenichi Endo, Koji Seto, Mei Nagano, Yu Aoi & Yoko Maki. “Mix” will be directed by Junichi Ishikawa and scripted by Ryota Kosawa. The duo previously collaborated in 2015 film “April Fools.” Premise for “Mix” has Yui Aragaki as Tamako Tomita partnering up with Eita as Hisashi Hagiwara in a mixed doubles table tennis tournament. She does this to partly get back at her ex-boyfriend who dumped for another girl and also to revive her late mother’s table tennis club.

“Mix” will be released autumn, 2017 in Japan.

Ryoko Hirosue, Mirai Moriyama & Yuri Kanari cast in WOWO drama special “Inagakike no Moshu”

Ryoko Hirosue, Mirai Moriyama & Yuri Kanari are cast in new WOWOW drama special “Inagakike no Moshu.” The drama special is based on an original screenplay by Goro Koyama. His screenplay won the 9th WOWOW Scenario Award in 2015. Story for the drama series follows a child (Yuri Kanari) who gets nervous in front of people and becomes terrified by the thought of making a speech at a funeral like his father just did. He then worries about his uncle (Mirai Moriyama) and aunt (Ryoko Hirosue)  who are single. He tries to get them married to avoid making a speech at their funerals.
