Second teaser trailer for movie “Tokyo Revengers 2 Part 1”

Second teaser trailer added for movie “Tokyo Revengers 2 Part 1” starring Takumi Kitamura, Yuki Yamada, & Yosuke Sugino. The second teaser trailer introduces newly announced cast members Kento Nagayama, Nijiro Murakami and Mahiro Takasugi. These three actors will play new characters for the sequel film. Kento Nagayama will play Keisuke Baji, who is one of founding members of Tokyo Manjikai. Nijiro Murakami will play Kazutora Hanemiya. He is one of the founding members of Tokyo Manjikai and then No.3 of delinquent group Baruhara which is hostile to Tokyo Manjikai. Lastly, Mahiro Takasugi will play Chifuyu Matsuno who is a member of Tokyo Manjikai.

“Tokyo Revengers 2 Part 1” is now set for release April 21, 2023 in Japan and its follow up film “Tokyo Revengers 2 Part 2” will be released June 30, 2023.

Tori Matsuzaka & Ryohei Suzuki cast in movie “The Blood of Wolves Level 2”

Tori Matsuzaka & Ryohei Suzuki are cast in sequel film “The Blood of Wolves Level 2.” Also cast in the film are Nijiro Murakami, Nanase Nishino, Taichi Saotome, Takumi Saito, Baijaku Nakamura, and Kotaro Yoshida. Besides Tori Matsuzaka, all of the other actors will play new characters. The film is a sequel to 2018 movie “The Blood of Wolves” and based on 2015 novel “Korou no Chi” by Yuko Yuzuki. Kazuya Shiraishi (“Twisted Justice“) returns to direct the sequel film as well.

“The Blood of Wolves Level 2” is now slotted for release August 20, 2021 in Japan.

Main trailer & poster for Netflix drama “Alice in Borderland”

Main trailer and poster added for Netflix live-action drama series “Alice in Borderland” starring Kento Yamazaki & Tao Tsuchiya. Drama series is based on manga series “Imawa no Kuni no Arisu” by Haro Aso. The poster features twelve cast members who are Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Nijiro Murakami, Yuki Morinaga, Keita Machida, Ayaka Miyoshi, Dori Sakurada, Aya Asahina, Shuntaro Yanagi, Nobuaki Kaneko, Sho Aoyagi and Riisa Naka. 

“Alice in Borderland” will be available to stream from December 10, 2020 on Netflix.

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Soiree” starring Nijiro Murakami and Haruka Imou. Captions in the trailer states in Japanese (0:08) “She said that running away is elopement,” and (1:13) “Two people ran away. They were happy.”

“Soiree” will be released August 28, 2020 in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Shota Iwamatsu (Nijiro Murakami) is a young man, who dreams of becoming an actor. He teaches stage play at a nursing home for the elderly. Due to an incident, he flees with Takara Yamashita (Haruka Imou), who also works at the same nursing home.

Release date & still images for movie “Soiree”

Upcoming movie “Soiree,” starring Nijiro Murakami & Haruka Imou, has received a release date of August 28, 2020 in Japan. 9 new still images has also been revealed for the upcoming film. Movie is written and directed by Bunji Satoyama (“A Sparkle Of Life“). Veteran actor Kosuke Toyohara is also the producer for the film.

Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Soiree”

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Soiree” starring Nijiro Murakami and Haruka Imou. The teaser trailer plays a song from a portable radio which is “How many times did I kiss you?” by Toshio Kamei and his late wife Chieko Kamei. Toshio Kamei is the music director for the film and he made the song with Chieko Kamei, while she was fighting a disease at the hospital. The song is their love song looking back at their life. Movie is written and directed by Bunji Satoyama.

“Soiree” will be released sometime this summer in Japan.

Trailer & poster for live-action film “I Was A ‘Secret Bitch'”

Trailer & poster added for live-action film “I Was A ‘Secret Bitch’” starring Yui Sakuma, Nijiro Murakami and Suzuka Ohgo. Movie is based on manga series “”Kakure Bicchi” Yattemashita” by Piroyo Arai and directed by Koichiro Miki. The word “Kakure Bitch” in the Japanese title means literally “Secret Bitch” or more precisely “Secret Slut.” The main character played by Yui Sakuma is a young woman who likes to flirt with men, using shy/innocent mannerisms rather than overtly sexual mannerisms. Her roommate and good friend call her “Kakure Bitch” because of that.

“I Was A ‘Secret Bitch'” will be released December 6, 2019 in Japan.
