Moon Chae-Won offered lead female role in tvN drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017”

Moon Chae-Won has been offered the lead female role in upcoming tvN drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017.” Currently she is considering the offer. Actor Nam Joo-Hyuk has already received an offer to play the lead male role and he is still considering the offer.

If Moon Chae-Won accepts, she will play psychiatrist So-A. The drama series is based on webcomic “Habaekui Shinboo” which is set in a historical time period, but the drama series will be set in the present day and also feature new characters.

“Bride of the Water God 2017” will air sometime during the second half of 2017 in South Korea.

Here’s the first still images of Moon Chae-Won in upcoming MBC drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black” also starring Lee Jin-Wook.

The still images are from a scene which was filmed January, 2016 in Thailand. In “Goodbye Mr. Black,” Moon Chae-Won plays Kim Swan. When her character was little, she was abandoned at a landfill. Her character though is brave and bright. Kim Swan will do anything for money, including fighting. She has a crush on Cha Ji-Won (Lee Jin-Wook).

“Goodbye Mr. Black” first airs March 16, 2016 in South Korea.

In drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black,” Lee Jin-Wook plays Cha Ji-Won. He is a UDT officer for the Navy Special Operations Force. Cha Ji-Won is betrayed by his friend and dreams of taking revenge on his former friend.

First script reading for MBC drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black”

First script reading for MBC drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black” starring Moon Chae-Won & Lee Jin-Wook took place January 9, 2016 at MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. At the first script reading main cast members Lee Jin-Wook, Moon Chae-Won, Kim Kang-Woo, Yu In-Young & Song Jae-Rim were in attendance.

In drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black,” Lee Jin-Wook  plays Cha Ji-Won (Mr. Black). He is an officer of the Korean Navy UDT (Underwater Demolition Team). His character is a positive and good person, but he is betrayed by his so called friend Min Sun-Jae (Kim Kang-Woo) and wants to take revenge on him.

Moon Chae-Won plays Swan. Her character was dumped at a landfill area in Thailand at a young age and she now makes a living at traditional market.

first character posters for movie “Mood of the Day”

Here’s the first character posters for upcoming romantic-comedy film “Mood of the Day” starring Moon Chae-WonYoo Yeon-Seok. Movie is directed by Jo Kyu-Jang (“A Camel Doesn’t Leave Desert“). The story for “Mood of the Day” involves two people who meet on the high speed KTX train in South Korea. They spend a day together in the port city of Busan.

“Mood of the Day” is now slotted for release sometime this January, 2016 in South Korea.

Daniel Henney offered role in upcoming MBC drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black”

Daniel Henney has been offered a major supporting role in upcoming MBC drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black” which has already cast Lee Jin-Wook, Moon Chae-Won, Song Jae-Rim and Kim Kang-Woo.  If Daniel Henney accepts, he will play Kim Ji-Ryoon. His character works as an adviser for an investment trust and representative of an NGO organization. He supports main female character Swan (Moon Chae-Won). Daniel Henney is currently “positively considering” the offer.

Drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black” is scheduled to begin filming this December in South Korea.
