Special Lunar New Year poster for movie “The Accidental Detective 2”

Here’s a special Lunar New Year poster for upcoming sequel film “The Accidental Detective 2.” Kwon Sang-Woo and Sung Dong-Il return in their roles of Kang Dae-Man and No Tae-Soo respectively and this time around they will be joined by Lee Kwang-Soo. Caption on the poster states “Year of the Golden Dog, Come Back With A Bump.” The Korean title has also been updated from “Private Investigator 2” to “Private Investigator: Returns.”

“The Accidental Detective 2” will be released sometime this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #2 for tvN drama series “Live”

Teaser trailer #2 for tvN drama series “Live” starring Jung Yu-Mi and Lee Kwang-Soo. The voice-over in teaser 2 has a man asking “Where you stand is always irrational and unfair. Don’t move, not even one step. Can you take it?” Jung Yu-Mi responds with “I will stand to the end viciously. Poor, but fierce life record.” The drama series follows a group of police officers.

“Live” first airs March 10, 2018 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Live”

First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Live” starring Jung Yu-Mi and Lee Kwang-Soo. The drama series also features director Kim Kyu-Tae and screenwriter No Hee-Kyung. The duo have previously worked together on drama series “Worlds Within……,” “Padam Padam… The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats,” “That Winter, The Wind Blows” and “It’s Ok, This is Love.”

Meanwhile photos above and below are from the traditional Buddhist gosa ceremony that takes place prior to filming.  The ceremony was held on January 28, 2018 in Paju, South Korea.

Ep.1 of “Live” is now set to air March 10, 2018 (takes over tVN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “A Korean Odyssey.”).

First script reading for tvN drama series “Live”

First script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “Live,” starring Jung Yu-Mi and Lee Kwang-Soo, took place November 16, 2017 at Studio Dragon in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Jung Yu-Mi, Lee Kwang-Soo, Bae Sung-Woo, Bae Jong-Ok and Lee Soon-Jae all attended. Story for “Live” follows the daily lives of police officers at a local precinct. The drama series is directed by Kim Kyu-Tae and scripted by No Hee-Kyung. They previously worked together on drama series”Worlds Within……,” “Padam Padam… The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats,” “That Winter, The Wind Blows” and “It’s Ok, This is Love.”

Filming for movie “The Accidental Detective 2” finishes

Filming for sequel film “The Accidental Detective 2” finished September 11, 2017 and took about 3 months to complete. The movie will star Kwon Sang-Woo, Sung Dong-Il and Lee Kwang-Soo. Story for the sequel film will have Kang Dae-Man (Kwon Sang-Woo) selling his comic book store and opening a private eye detective agency without telling his wife. After filming the last scene for the movie, Kwon Sang-Woo stated “It was meaningful that I acted with actors and actresses from ‘The Accidental Detective.’ I think the movie will give new pleasure to the audience.” Movie is directed by Lee Eon-Hee.

“The Accidental Detective 2” opens sometime next year in South Korea.

Jung Yu-Mi, Lee Kwang-Soo and Bae Sung-Woo cast in tvN drama series “Live”

Jung Yu-Mi, Lee Kwang-Soo and Bae Sung-Woo are cast in tvN drama series “Live.” The drama series will first air sometime in the first half of 2018. Kim Kyu-Tae will direct the drama series and No Hee-Kyung will write the screenplay. Kim Kyu-Tae and No Hee-Kyung previously worked together in drama series “Worlds Within……,” “Padam Padam… The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats,” “That Winter, The Wind Blows” and “It’s Ok, This is Love“.

In drama series “Live,” Jung Yu-Mi will play Han Jung-O. She is a police officer and works at a neighborhood police station. She fights against male chauvinism. Lee Kwang-Soo will play Yeom Sang-Soo. He is a police officer and works with Han Jung-O. They solves cases together. Bae Sung-Woo will play Oh Yang-Chon. He once had a promising police career, but he was recently demoted to the neighborhood police station where Han Jung-O and Yeom Sang-Soo works.

Lee Kwang-Soo offered lead male role in drama series “Live”

Lee Kwang-Soo has been offered the lead male role in upcoming drama series “Live.” Actress Jung Yu-Mi has already received an offer to play the lead female role. Both performers are currently “positively considering” their offers. If Lee Kwang-Soo accepts, he will play the main character who works as a police officer. Lee Kwang-Soo previously worked with screenwriter No Hee-Kyung in tvN drama series “Dear My Friends” and SBS drama series “It’s Ok, This is Love.”

Filming for “Live” will begin sometime during the second half of this year.

Lee Kwang-Soo to make special appearance in KBS2 drama series “The Best Hit”

Lee Kwang-Soo is set to make a special appearance in upcoming KBS2 drama series “The Best Hit” starring Yoon Si-Yoon and Kim Min-Jae. Lee Kwang-Soo is good friends with supporting actor/director Cha Tae-Hyun which led to his special appearance. In the drama series, Lee Kwang-Soo will play Yoon-Ki. He is the boyfriend of Choi Woo-Seung (Lee Se-Young).

“The Best Hit” first airs June 2, 2017 in South Korea.

Here’s still images of Song Joong-Ki‘s cameo appearance in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Sound of Your Heart” starring Lee Kwang-Soo. The still images are of Song Joong-Ki and Lee Kwang-Soo. In the drama series, Song Joong-Ki will play a successful webtoon writer. His character is also good friends with Jo Suk (Lee Kwang-Soo). Song Joong-Ki will appear in ep.1 and ep.20  “Sound of Your Heart.”
