The sequel drama series will also feature new characters, played by popular actors including Yim Si-Wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Yang Dong-Geun, Park Gyu-Young, Lee Jin-Uk, Roh Jae-Won, and Won Ji-An, who compete for the prize in a deadly survival game. It has been 3 years since the first season of “Squid Game” was released and the teaser trailer has Front Man standing in front of a running track and asking “It’s been three years. Are you ready to play again?”

“Squid Game 2” will be available to stream December 26, 2024 and “Squid Game 3” will be released sometime in 2025.

Jung Woo-Sung cast in movie “Hunt”

Jung Woo-Sung is cast in movie “Hunt” co-starring Lee Jung-Jae. The film is also the first film directed by Lee Jung-Jae. Jung Woo-Sung and Lee Jung-Jae are longtime friends and they worked together in 1998 film “City of the Rising Sun.” For movie “Hunt,” Jung Woo-Sung will play NSA Agent Kim Jung-Do. He works with rival NSA Agent Park Pyeong-Ho (Lee Jung-Jae) to capture a North Korean spy manger in South Korea.

Filming for “Hunt” will begin 2021.
